I remember watching Seinfeld as a kid, i had no idea that Julia would turn out to be the most talented of the bunch. But looking back it's pretty obvious.

i loved hearing her talk about a bug's life. you can always tell when a celebrity voice actor doesn't care so much about voicing an animated character, but you can tell she really gets it. the mark of a truly great performance in animation is an actor that understands the complexity of channeling an entire performance through your voice and the avenues you can use to get there. what a fantastic performer and a great role model. even when i was little and saw my parents watching seinfeld, i knew i looked up to her.
LOVE her! I'm rewatching all the Seinfeld episodes while on my treadmill and I had forgotten how great it was - such talent! It's helping me stay on the treadmill!
I was on vacation in Los Angeles and went to a taping of a brand-new show that we were told was possibly going to be picked up, and that was the New Adventures of Old Christine! It was so great to see that cast in action, and that was my only TV show taping, so I'm glad I got to see JLD live and performing in front of a crowd.
I'll always remember how much she made me laugh playing Selina Mayer on VEEP. So much, that after watching the episode, the scenes would be on my mind and I'd burst out laughing simply thinking of them, and no other show/actor could do that to me. Thats the power of her acting. She's a genius. Truly !
Ahhh, that voice! I just want to curl up into a comfy chair and listen to her all day, and that laugh is absolutely intoxicating. Her husband is a very lucky guy.

Enough Said was heartbreaking and beautiful. I loved seeing Julia and James in such different roles than their legendary tv characters. I’m still sad that Gandolfini left us so early...such a devastating loss! Elaine and Tony will live on forever, though.

I watched a lot of television in the 1980s and 1990s before the internet age kicked in. I hardly watch any tv now. Back then I did. Watching Julia Loius-Dreyfus on television back then really brightened up my day back in the 1990s.

I always love when hollywood actors pay credit to the skill of voice acting instead of going "Oh yeah it was easy I just showed up and read stuff in my PJs!". Some people have voices iconic enough not not have to act. But voice acting is a genuine skill in the same way theatre acting is different form movie acting.
That's so very true. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the new "Lion King". Some of the voice overs were absolutely wooden because I don't think some of the actors were up to the skill required for voice overs.

The new Loin King was cast with names. Names don't make good voice actors most times. Sadly voice actors don't get nominated for Oscars like best actors in a film and they should.
