Now you make me really anxious to get my Crystal Light but I have a long wait (Late July to early August). Don't forget, this is a brand new HMD, all the internal electronics are very different from the OG Crystal, so it'll take Pimax a while to get all the bugs out by updating both the firmware and software (Pimax Play). All the best to you and enjoy! :) Also, what CPU are you using, I went from a 5900x to a 7800X3D and it made a HUGE difference for VR (using a Reverb G2v2) I already had a 4090.
About the tracking problem, this might be due to your walls. All-white or walls in one color can cause problems. Make sure you have something hanging on your wall that contrasts with the wall, like a painting, picture, ... There is a slight chance that very bright or too dark rooms can cause problems too. If you have an AM4 motherboard (especially the B550/X570 with a ryzen 5000 cpu, sometimes B450 motherboard as well) some USB ports can cause disconnect issues. Make sure you have upgraded to the latest bios that fixes this issue, most of the time. Also try disabling C-state and P-state powersaving options of the CPU in the bios. Also recommended, disable power saving mode on all USB ports (device manager in windows).
HP send me a new cable for my Reverb G2 with a seperate power adapter connection because many if not all AMD B550/X570 systems had USB connectivity problems using the default cable (that worked flawlessly on intel systems). Maybe it is something similar? Can't remember from your original video in french if you have tried connecting your headset to a seperate USB hub but one with a dedicated power adapter. Maybe worth a try too?
@@nekron75 thanks for your advice. I disabled power saving in windows. I tried with a USB port in the front part of my PC that is not a USB 3.0 and experience is smoother. No more stutters.
@@gilchecksix Happy to hear about the improvement! Apparently the manual does not recommend a specific usb version, 2 or 3, so yeah 2.0 is perfectly fine. But do you mean by "stutter" the short and random drifting/jumping of the headset inside the game (tracking problem)? Because on the youtube I don't see stuttering in your framerate. Did switching usb port solve the problem OR disabling the power savings of the usb ports, or both? It might be a good idea to know what exactly solved it and then let Pimax know about this. There are still several people who struggle with this problem. Another problem, but still somewhat related, is that "many" people have to recalibrate their headset, that is redefine their gaming area, almost every time after taking off their headset and resuming after some time. Do you also have this problem (still?) or is it solved as well now?

I have a intel core i5 10700k and I expect upgrading with 7800x3d at the end of the year.
I also suspect bottleneck to be the reason of some freezing.
@@gilchecksix Oh yes, going from a 10700k to a 7800X3D or even a 13700k or 14700k will make a considerable difference. :)

What hz mode were you using when you were getting miniums of 28fps?
