@@danielhamby9448 Yeah I think quite a few songs of piper could contend as the "ultimate" psychedelic song. To me, that's Flaming, that song and psychedelics get along real well :p I think When the Music's Over is more psychedelic than Strange Days
I disagree. It's pretty simplistic, and not even the best of its era. Sunshine of Your Love, Incense and Peppermints, White Rabbit, a handful of Jimi Hendrix songs, and even The Doors' own Light My Fire is a better psychedelic song.
This song however l, could fit right into a modern playlist. This could play at a clothing store or something and still sound right. The sound was perfect for its time, but also ahead of its time. Hendrix now days just sounds like the regular blues
Back in 2008, I flew to California to attend a Native American event and i ended up in Venice Beach with this song playing on my Ipod. I thought that Jim once walked this very strip. If only he lived to see how much he meant to so many fans.
The doors are literally my favorite... I've always enjoyed this song. but now that I'm about to start learning it, I'm listening to it and following along to the Notes on paper and I'm literally crying because of how creative this song is. The ultimate psychedelic song hands down. So haunting and other worldly, indeed.
It is… right along with Tales of Brave Ulysses and Astronomy Domine

Jim Morrison era todo un maestro, un gran genio y un hermoso cantante , lo amooo
Are you not from New York??? Remember Jim said "That's New York for you. The only people who rush the stage are guys" LMAO ;) 1
I love how they were able to transform Jim's poems into amazing songs.
