Would've never thought of the mitre saw for the wine glasses cuts! I really enjoy your approach and the way you think of things. Best of luck with everything!
Awesome stuff. I can't wait for the next video. I think you're right where a lot of us are. Making it way more interesting to follow you on your journey. An inspiration to those of us trying to get stuff done. Keep it up.
Thanks brother! It’s definitely slow going with a real job to hold down. Maybe one of hear days I could transfer over...but that’s just a wild dream for now.
I like it but I think the dowel spoils the look in the front board, If I was to build this I'd do everything the same but use the nails from the pallets to attach the front board to keep with the aged look.
Yeah, I have thought of that before but it's since slipped my mind. Not sure what I'd sell it for. Have you had success selling them? What price point?
Another great project, thanks for posting! I'm wondering if you think this could work by cutting a pallet apart such that you would have the majority of it pre-made and than just have to add the bottom section to hold the glasses. This occured to me because to get those pieces of pallet wood would have cost you a fair amount of time and you are then putting them back almost into the same position as they would have started.
At some point, I did think about this, but when it came to building, it left my mind. If I batch these out again, I'll definitely explore this. Thanks for the reminder!!
Not at all. I bought that bottle for a previous episode and then bought a gallon bottle of glue and am reusing that gorrilla glue bottle. At the time, the gorilla glue must have been less expensive than the competition at the big box store. Thanks for the question!
ok new here. I do think i need to direct you to pallet selection and free pallets could be battery type or also pesticide treated. theres a website to know the codes for pallets. just a thought as some poeple could end up with bad pallets. research the codes on the pallet to make sure its safe to use
Thanks for the question. Lifetime sales for these wine racks is about 8. Since posting this video, I've sold 3/6. I think these are a tougher sell because people are hesitant to drill holes into their walls. If I were you, I'd build 2-3 and see how they sell in your area. Let me know how it goes.
@@makemoneywoodworking Thanks for your feedback! Thats what I was thinking. I think ill make 2 tonight and post them for $40. I'm also chewing on the idea of making one out of new wood and staining gray. A grain stain has been pretty popular for me lately. Just not sure if the price point is going to be high enough to justify the materials + labor.
That might work. As you build other items, this wine rack might be one you'll be able to make out of left over pieces as they aren't too big, rather than spending money on material and cutting into your profits.
Sorry. Life has happened. We had a second kid and then I tore my Achilles. And our house is being remodeled. Also, my wife just finished busy 60 hour week tax season.
Ep. 6 coming soon. Lots has happened in my life....Since Ep. 5, we've added 2 more children to the fold (3 total), I also tore my achilles and it took a year to recover. Stay tuned.
Just read about heel , I really enjoy your chanle and the content you are making keep up great work ,always look forward to what's next ,I made trays and ,table plant boxes and stove cover ...nova Scotia Canada...all best to and family ....
An underrated project for sure. Cost is low. Simple to make. Great for batching out.

Thank you! Having minimal tools forces you to get creative.👍
Bring this back. ♥️
Ep 6 coming soon. I'm alive. Stay tuned

Awesome work on all episodes
Good video I have alot of access to pallets looks like a good money make you me it look simple to make
"rustic" allows for imperfections, but not for a lack in structure. Best of luck!
How many total 20 inch pieces did you use trying to. Make a list of cuts
Nice work. Keep em coming.
Thanks brother!
Episode 6 just dropped. I'd love to get your feedback.

Woodworking Monetized I know the feeling. My day job is to good to let go, but I definitely love the craft.

You could do something similar to make a beer bottle caddy. That would sell well
Yeah, I have thought of that before but it's since slipped my mind. Not sure what I'd sell it for. Have you had success selling them? What price point?
@@makemoneywoodworking I haven't built any yet, I've just got my garage set up, and haven't done any projects yet. I'm very much new at it.
Gotcha. Congrats on getting your space set up. Be patient with yourself, start slow and keep at it. Best of luck!

Was there a reason for using gorilla glue here rather than normal wood glue?

What amke countersink drill bit are you using please ?
I can really remember. Some inexpensive one at Home Depot. Not sure if they still carry it

Thanks for the info. I definitely remember hearing about that but has since slippedy mind. Great point to bring up anytime.pallets are involved
I was just curious to see how well these sold for you? I was thinking about making a few of them.

Is this a dead Channel because it's really good content. I really like the idea of the channel but would suck if it's a dead Channel now
