Great video! where do you buy your Richardson hats? Ive looked into getting them direct from Richardson but don't qualify for a wholesale account yet.
You are not alone. They do it with what seems to be….. all of their products. I got an A30P scan tool and I am having a hell of a time with this shit company. My unit is still under warranty and it got messed up because it forced me to perform an update to keep it working and now it is stuck in boot loop during startup. Still fighting with it.
I purchased the M1 Ultra 10W Deluxe Bundle for my business after using a colleague's unit for a few months. I ordered it on November 20th, and it arrived within a week, just in time for the busy Christmas season at my shop. However, after only 4 hours of operation spread across two days-primarily cutting and engraving 3mm wood boards-the laser malfunctioned. While the laser still fires, there is no output power, even when set to 100%. I immediately contacted xTool support, and this is where the issues began. Due to the support team being based in Asia, there is a significant time zone delay, resulting in a response time of 12 to 24 hours for each message exchange. This prolonged back-and-forth communication stretched out for an entire week. Eventually, I was informed that a new laser head would be shipped and that I would receive logistics information within 3-5 days. However, after five days, there was still no tracking update or shipment information, and my support ticket was marked as “solved.” I followed up to clarify why the ticket was marked as solved, as I had received no updates and urgently required the replacement for my business during the busy holiday season. The response from support on December 9th was that the delay was due to an inventory issue and that the replacement would be dispatched from a local warehouse “today.” I finally received a tracking number, but it has shown no updates since that date. As of today, I have not received the replacement, and this has severely impacted my business operations during a critical sales period. From a business-to-business perspective, this experience has been extremely disappointing. Furthermore, I have noticed similar complaints from other customers on forums and RUclips, indicating that this issue is not isolated. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision before purchasing.
Great ideas. I am starting into craft shows and the ideas are great. Thank you
Why not do a first sand on the whole 4x4 before you cut? That way you are doing touch up sanding on the smaller pieces. It seems like the sanding would go faster.
That may be true. I suppose I was trying to make sure to get the edges and corners when sanding.
That would be the touch up after they are cut. Then you just to the edges.
Great tips
Thanks. Much appreciated!
I went through the same thing Anycubic (also a Chinese company) over a 3D printer.
Thank you for posting this review! I will not be purchasing a laser from @xToollaser. Customer service is very important to me. Also, from the sounds of it, your xtool laser stopped working shortly after you purchased it. I hope the laser they sent you will work this time, and the company apologizes for their poor service and bribery. I'm sorry!!
Congratulations
Thank you! Hoping for more
Way cool.
Thank you for the review. I was on the fence about buying this since their location in China. Definitely not buying now.
If I had to buy again, I'd go with Omtech. Customer Service for troubleshooting is in the US.
If you're going to use music, it's best to use instrumental so it doesn't compete with you speaking.
Gotcha. Yeah, I think this is the last video I used music for.
Nice fall decorations. I noticed when you were drilling the holes out for the stems on the pumpkins holding the wood by hand and thought I'd share what I did to stop the piece from twisting my wrist. I took a couple cut off pieces and screwed the on the bench against two sides of the piece I was cutting holes in so the piece I was cutting didn't twist which freed up both hands to hold the drill. Nice work and video.
Thanks for the advice. I think when I'm in video mode, I tend to forget to think about simple ways to make things easier. This makes complete sense. Thanks for the comment!
thank you! will be trying this out this week. appreciate you
are the stripe boards exactly 2inch in width?
No, there are 1.5 inches in width
I’ll buy a hat. You need a link.
DM me on Instagram: #laserandleather
What equipment/programs did you use for this?
Laser: xtool d1 pro Software: xtool creative space (free program) Hat Press: Stahls Hotronix 360
What kind of return are you making with the hats? I live in an area that has potential niche market exploitation with lots of people with more disposable income than most.
Great question. Hats recently increased in price. The heather gray with black back used to be $6 but now they are $8. Patches are about $1-2, depending on how many you need to print before you get the specs dialed in. I sold the Foxes' hats for $23-25 each. So, the cost is $10-12, with a $23-$25 retail. Thanks for the comment. Let me know how it goes if you take the dive.
@@makemoneywoodworking I’m my market I’d ask $35.00 like I said..lots of disposable income.
Most definitely. There's definitely profit to be had. I went big with the $1900 hat press, but there are cheaper ones on amazon. After looking at some of the 1 start reviews, I decided to go big. I'm very happy with the Stalhs hat press. If I was making a design from scratch or had to make lots of adjustments to the design, I would charge more. I definitely think $35 is reasonable in some cases. I'm still hoping for that big order of 20 plus.
Don’t forget to consider your labor into the calculations
How wide are the stripes
1.5"
Wouldn’t it be easier to sand and stain before assembly?
Yes

Thanks for the info!
Sure thing. Thanks for the comment!
So you don’t remove the stain? Why?
Good video I have alot of access to pallets looks like a good money make you me it look simple to make
"rustic" allows for imperfections, but not for a lack in structure. Best of luck!
Great idea!!!! What do you sell them for?
I've had more success within the $20-25 range.
RE: Business card. Even better, make a little display with your contact info and have then take a photo of it. Business cards get thrown away, but you have to be very organized to go through the photos on your phone and delete the ones you don't want.
Great point. Business cards are an added cost too.
Congrats on the winners. I thought you were going to pick 3 winners ,each winner getting 1 batch of the items shown .
