The cook stove is the same kind my Grand Ma cooked many good stuff in the left back corner. and the old wood stove where the numbers are we had to heat with and heated with coal. I'm 71 now. Love your video
I love the open concept, high ceilings and how you added your personal touches with the barn doors and shutters. The next owner has a nice place to live, indoor and outdoor space.
Dam that is so Nice and I have the same kind of plan with a 60 by 90 pole barn Building with the whole up Stairs as living space. But I have to say you turned that into a very very nice home.
I love it! I love the kitchen and bathroom. You know if your daughter wants a bath you could put small inflatable pool in that huge shower. I know you mentioned she loves baths. You did a great job on this.
Jeremy, have you thought about holding onto the pole barn house and renting it out? That could be some extra income and build more appreciation. You guys are really good at making your homes cozy. Im looking forward to seeing more from your childhood home.
Wow very nice open concept home that you have there. I'm sure the new owner will be very happy in that nice home with that beautiful back porch. I would love to watch a video about your online business that would be very interesting. Thanks for sharing
Where did your sister go ? What does she think about all the improvements that you have made ? It’s neat to see your great grandparent’s home. Will your neighbor’s son be buying both homes ?
@@barkervlogToo bad there isn't a family member who could buy and restore the great grandparents' home. Keep it in the family like you're doing with your childhood home.
I did think about that. it just makes more sense to sell to my neighbors son bc he's dad already owns the driveway.he was ok with me using his driveway but not sure about other people. I would have make a new entrance. also with him paying cash it will help me renovate my dad's house without borrowing any money. I like to live debt free as possible.
@@barkervlog good thinking. Also being a landlord can be a real headache. Not every renter is a good renter. I've always rented and I've had some real bad neighbors that didn't always pay the rent and cost the landlord lots of $ for repairs... Plus re-doing the gr grands house would cost 1000's and be like building a new home you'd be paying off (just the interest on the bank loan) till you had gray hair. lol Debt free is the way to go. And your memories are in your boyhood home.
Beautiful Japanese Elm tree. Ive been watching the renovation at your new place (where you grew up)! Its looking good. Happy for you guys. 🎉😅
