Covid Road Trip | Memphis to Nashville | In Search Of America: Travels With Hyper Now W/ Live Music

- On this episode of In Search of America #TravelswithHyper the crew take the live-streaming RV down to Tennessee for a life changing time in Memphis and Nashville.
We started day 11 of our road trip joined by fellow content creators @Blessious @erniecarothers at Memphis Rox an inspiring rock climbing gym helping challenged communities by excluding no one regardless of their ability to pay.
Then we headed over to Central BBQ for some award winning slow smoked Memphis style BBQ and were surprised by BBQ Nachos!
We didn’t realize the National Civil Rights Museum was across the street from Central BBQ but Zac and Malika were moved to visit the site of Martin Luther King’s assassination at the Lorraine Motel and learn the history behind the movement.
Speaking of the movement we then headed over to the Historic Peabody Memphis Hotel to see the infamous duck march AND meet Rev. Earle J. Fisher a Black faith leader to talk about the local movement to remove the confederate statues of Jefferson Davis and Nathan Bedford from Memphis.
On day 12 we headed to the state and music capital of Tennessee-Nashville! Malika was excited to kick off the day with a country-western two-step lesson from Hailey Keith.
Then we had an incredible mini concert at Black Dog recording a professional music recording studio for independent artists.
Local musician Luke Holden took us around Nashville and made sure we didn’t leave Nashville without trying authentic Nashville Hot Chicken from Party Fowl and a walk down Honkytonk Highway aka the Broadway Historic District. Finally to close out the night as we got closer to Halloween we took a historic ghost tour through downtown Nashville.

I loved the memphis rocks such a great of inspiring community that is great the revenue I know zac wanted to talk to him more and great bbq in nashville and zac and Malika two stepped zac burned his mouth off I loved it plus musicans trying to make a lot living so great

Yes! I'd never before seen a gym say hey, we want to take care of our people, is you volunteer--ANYWHERE IN THE COMMUNITY--you can use that to pay for your participation, and also hey, can we help you pay for essentials like clothes and laundry detergent? Such an amazing idea, i hope their plans to set up shop in more cities goes through.
Such a wonderful concept. I'd love to see a similar approach taken in other communities.

WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO! Theres a lot of great artists and a musical performance that will knock your socks off. Favorite part would probably be the musical performances by Black Dog Records artists and the hot chicken. WATCH THE WHOLE THING! so damn good
