If you plan to continue with the X-Men series, you will likely notice inconsistencies with some plot points and characters, such as when Charles became paralyzed and when Charles and Eric stopped being allies. Twentieth Century Fox didn't really have an MCU-level multi-film grand plan for the series, so they would often change or flat-out ignore certain details from previous films because they didn't fit the story they wanted to tell in later films. Though they do try to retcon these inconsistencies in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, even that film can't quite explain away some of them. The best advice I can give you is to just try not to get hung up on these inconsistencies. MCU mastermind Kevin Feige did serve as a producer on the X-Men films, and his very first film producer credit came as an assistant producer on the first X-Men film. But he didn't have the kind of creative control in order to exercise the same strong adherence to continuity that his MCU films would later have, and his experience on the X-Men films really helped him learn the importance of continuity and consistency going forward with the MCU.
the real reason why Rogue and Cyclops were only in the movie for a short time, is because the actors were busy filming other movies that same year. Also, this was the first X-men movie that wasn't directed by Bryan Singer.

Most of the stories, plotlines and characterizations seen in the movies originally came from him.

The actually happened in the comics, and what I heard was that they were pretty evenly matched and fought each other to a standstill...though since I haven't actually read that comic, just heard about it, don't quote me on this.
I'm glad you enjoyed this movie. A lot of people hated it because it was a different director, even before it was released. Sadly, the toxic fandom made sure there was never a real X-Men 4.
I’ve been loving your x-men reactions! X-Men 90s animated series started my love for X-Men! Here’s hoping we eventually get A Live Action Big Budget X-Men TV series!
I hope with the X-men coming back, Famke gets to return. She'll always be on screen Jean/Phoenix for me, even if they changed her story a lot. She's already said she'd be interested!
The boy with wings is Warren Worthington the third or Angel. He becomes a horseman of Death for the X-villain Apocalypse. He gets metallic wings and changes his name to Archangel. Late he falls in love with the psychic mutant Psylocke.
And had longtime and definitive X-Men writer Chris Claremont gotten his way back in the '80s, she would instead have been his biological father (having shapeshifted the necessary "equipment" to do so), with her canonical lover, Irene Adler ("Destiny") as Nightcrawler's mother. Had their story been written today, Marvel editorial might well have allowed Claremont to have Mystique and Destiny be Nightcrawler's two moms. Instead, we got 2003's "The Draco", from Chuck Austen's run on Uncanny X-Men, which told us who Nightcrawler's true father was. And Austen's run is one that most fans generally prefer to ignore (apart from Juggernaut becoming a member of the X-Men for a while), if that tells you anything.
I'd wonder what cat food is being given. Species appropriate probably wouldn't produce gas. I know from experience when I fed my cat ONLY raw wet food (bought a brand that was frozen and correctly balanced for nutrients), even her poop did NOT stink. Consider out in the wild, cats would only be eating animals they could catch, nothing cooked or containing plants (except maybe what's in their prey's stomachs). Also, stinky poop is more of a risk factor for the cat being prey, so nature wouldn't do that to them if they're eating proper diet.
I watched this at age 11 in the theater. What happened to Xavier messed my brain the freak up. Let alone Famke's performance as Dark Phoenix which probably seeded the reason why, on average, when played well, I think women are more emotionally impactful when playing creepy, scary and intimidating. Very few male actors can do that, albeit, not as intensely.
(Now that you know what the Phoenix is I can make this comment lol ) I remember watching X men 2, and saw that Jean had problems with her powers I suspected that it was the Phoenix, then when Jean messed around with the missile, I yelped “THE PHOENIX!!!” And heard whispers of people asking people they were with on what the Phoenix was… lol
Shohreh Aghdashloo is basically the go to, if they want anyone vaguely Middle Eastern looking, Brian George is similar, need a Middle Eastern guy, use him! Middle Eastern woman, her… Her voice is very distinctive though, and recognisable in loads of stuff she wouldn’t normally be credited for.
As a hardcore X-Men fan as a child in the early 90's...There are so many directions to go in and I think they lost their way here. Understandably, you can't please everyone. But it wasn't as epic of a Last Stand as it should have been. It has its moments though, I'm no gatekeeper. Save your tears for Future Past years...

Everyone dies to live another day. Remember it is a comic book.
Make sure you watch all the X-Men movies. Because they all have something good to offer
It's the little things
In Dark Phoenix's case, is Hans Zimmer's score
famke Jansen! what a woman! and what an actress! She definitely didn't stay another Bond girl.
Multiple Man is played by Eric Dane -
He was in a show here in the states called Grey's Anatomy.
Rogue :- a hug , a handshake , a kiss
Mary :- a fuck
Maaaaaannnnnn 🤣
I’ve been loving your x-men reactions! X-Men 90s animated series started my love for X-Men! Here’s hoping we eventually get A Live Action Big Budget X-Men TV series!
Elliot Page looks so pretty in this movie 🥺🥰
I'm glad somebody corrected his name.
(Scott crying, mourning Jean). . .
. . ."Lola, you did a fart." 😆
Still one of my favorite OMG moments of any Marvel movie was full form Iceman. Also grateful for more Lola screen time!!
I hope with the X-men coming back, Famke gets to return. She'll always be on screen Jean/Phoenix for me, even if they changed her story a lot. She's already said she'd be interested!
Lola is loved by more people than she will ever know
Those are the movies that’ll get people to cry: Schindler’s List, The Notebook, and… X-Men 3 The Last Stand.
add LOGAN
And Logan
"Up" as well ... 💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💘🎈
And Days of future past
No one with any respect for the X-Men characters had any emotional investment in this dumpster fire of a movie.
They guy you said had a familiar face was Jason Dean on Charmed
When Jean ‘dies’ in X2, there is a glowing Phoenix under the water to show she might not be entirely dead.
It's hard to believe that Famke Janssen will be 60 years old in 2024!!!!🥰😍😘❤💋😎👏🙌👌👍
You missed that after credit scene with Charles ...
and then Bobby got Pyro's powers and became Lamplighter lol
Epic comment lmao 🤣
The fact that the professor had a whole funeral scene before Scott even got a grave always bugged me. Like he literally died first 😭😭😭😭😭
The boy with wings is Warren Worthington the third or Angel. He becomes a horseman of Death for the X-villain Apocalypse. He gets metallic wings and changes his name to Archangel. Late he falls in love with the psychic mutant Psylocke.
Little fun fact, Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother
“Do we need a cure, Lola?”
Yes, a cure for farts…
I'd wonder what cat food is being given. Species appropriate probably wouldn't produce gas. I know from experience when I fed my cat ONLY raw wet food (bought a brand that was frozen and correctly balanced for nutrients), even her poop did NOT stink. Consider out in the wild, cats would only be eating animals they could catch, nothing cooked or containing plants (except maybe what's in their prey's stomachs). Also, stinky poop is more of a risk factor for the cat being prey, so nature wouldn't do that to them if they're eating proper diet.
Angel was the original character in the first X-Men comic.
our path in the saga of X-men continues in: "X-men origins: Wolverine" (the movie that tells the origin of Wolverine)
Bobby Warren Scott Jean and Hank were the original X-men
Gosh I love the X-men I can’t wait for you to watch the rest
MAKE SURE U CHECK ALL END CREDIT SCENES IN EVERY XMEN MOVIES. YOU MISSED ONE IN THIS MOVIE
missed the post credits :( they are very important, especially this one.
yep
I watched this at age 11 in the theater. What happened to Xavier messed my brain the freak up. Let alone Famke's performance as Dark Phoenix which probably seeded the reason why, on average, when played well, I think women are more emotionally impactful when playing creepy, scary and intimidating. Very few male actors can do that, albeit, not as intensely.
Yeah, I've seen an interview with the actress playing the one doctor. She pronounces it [Shor-ray. Ugh-dash-loo]
My personal directors Cut of 34:36
Wolverine: I love you
Jean: I know but I love Scott more
*Wolverine impales her with his claws"
"Dun dun.... da-da dun- Loooola?" (POOF! CAT!) XD 4:04
i've always felt magento is a hero (usually) siding with villains and xavier is a villain siding with heroes.
You should definitely check check out the X-Men animated series from the 90s lol it is awesome
Jean is the 2nd most powerful earthling (after Franklin Richards) in all of Marvel, she's a universal threat.
2nd? She's the first most powerful bruhh
In marvel Movies there is almost always an after credit scene you really should watch it mary ,love your videos
Shohreh Aghdashloo is basically the go to, if they want anyone vaguely Middle Eastern looking, Brian George is similar, need a Middle Eastern guy, use him! Middle Eastern woman, her…
Her voice is very distinctive though, and recognisable in loads of stuff she wouldn’t normally be credited for.
2:55 RIP Stan Lee 🙏🏽
The reason Magneto was able to move the chess piece is because the cure ended up being only temporary.
I watched this in the faint hope that she really did mean "balling."
As did I. Deceptive advertising!
Jean and wanda fight many times in comics, and wanda is daughter of magneto
I remember seeing this in theaters. What better time. For me at least
angel was badass looking in this movie..the one thing i loved about this movie..his wings look so good
As a hardcore X-Men fan as a child in the early 90's...There are so many directions to go in and I think they lost their way here. Understandably, you can't please everyone. But it wasn't as epic of a Last Stand as it should have been. It has its moments though, I'm no gatekeeper. Save your tears for Future Past years...
