is this good or m1 air just started learning video editing as a hobby, not a proffessional, is this a good machine, for not a proffesional video editor? thanks i am trying to learn da vinci resolve
Have you updated to sonoma and how is that going?
I'm still on macOS catalina, haven't upgraded yet. How is your performance?
wow thats from a WHILE ago
@@shaneomac8289 My mac runs like butter, I dont need apple's bloat and shitty ARM OS. But some of the software doesn't get the updates. That's about it.
Ive just bought one of these with 1tb of storage for bootcamp
Hi, I’m looking to buy this exact MacBook but the year is now 2024. What is your opinion now in the present 2024?
Still a decent value, but I’ve seen the 2021 16” go for as low as $1200 so you might consider that or a 2021 14” unless you really need to use bootcamp for windows
Still totally relevant. I just bought one, upgrading from a 13 inch 2017 Intel Core i5. Over the moon at its awesomeness…!!
Like i was waiting for this video to come
Would the chip run cooler, or get better performance in the cinebench test, if you had it running on windows? I’m curious if maybe the chip is optimized to run on windows.
it runs hotter in Windows, but you could undervolt the CPU for better temps.
I’m gonna get this next month from my colleague! He offered me $475 which is equal to RM2,000! MBP 16” i7 AMD GPU & 1TB SSD. Let me know what you think on this. Thanks
And 32GB
Not bad
How long does the battery last
5 hours
I'm finding conflicting info on upgrading the SSD and Ram. Is this possible or is it soldered in? Thanks!
Both are soldered
Hello I am getting at US$ 540 , purchased on January 2021 ( 2019 model ) . Is it worth buying in 2024 now ? What are the technicalities I should check before buying ? Please give an idea . I am from India . 😊 spec details
MACBOOK PRO A2141 TOUCH BAR 2019
Core i7 9Th Gen
32 GB DDR4 RAM
500 GB Flash Drive
5.5 GB GRAPHICS
16"RETINA SCREEN
KB BACKLIT
WI-FI WEBCAM HDMI
BLUETOOTH
USB 3.0
With original charger & Box
Decent price, it’s a good computer. You should consider an M1 MacBook Air, it’s better in a lot of aspects. I don’t think the 2019 16” will get more Mac OS updates, something to consider
I need for basic surfing but more into Music related work , live on stage , playing & performing !! Like production & video editing , not heavy uses for personal purposes . Becoz I am not a blogger .
2024 here still supporting
This is such a high end MacBook Pro. How is it only getting support till 2025!? No way!... This came with (9980HK) Coffee Lake, up to 5 GHz, of 2666 MHz DDR4 SDRAM, of built in SSD, AMD Radeon Pro with of memory...
Thank you i got a idea
M1 is better?
In most cases, yes
Do you think this would be a good laptop to edit RUclips videos? I use Wondershare Filmora
It should be pretty good. The M1 is definitely better
Can you do 4k video editing on this
Yes!
My return button seems to be sticking.
I think the video is sped up a bit
@@danieltrainclub sonoma doesnt support intel macs that well and its pretty laggy
@@jcuber8907 what are u talking about?? I have this same model and just updated to Sonoma without any problem running Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
ANSWER YES
Regards from 2024
Is it good enough for advanced level video editing? Is it speedy enough? Or should i buy something new in the same range such as HP or Lenovo?
I think the 8GB vram configuration with 32 gb of RAM would be well suited for that purpose.
great vid
Sir can you help to to find i9 model under 600$
walmat
Battery matters
intel laptops are literal bricks now because of m series macs . an intel mac should never be recommended unless for dirt cheap
I have one, it went off and is not turning on again
What, why? I am gonna get one £550 in Facebook Marketplace for video editing good condition. Would you recommend?
Om running big sur can i upg4ade?
Yes 👍

MacBook pro 2019 Is this the m1 or?
I7
Absolutely not. Get the m3 instead
The M3 is down to $500?
@@GoJot well should’ve mentioned that in the title
lol i m commenting from this exact model.
Buy a MacBook Air M1 and be happy. Avoid this 2019 overheating junk with crap Intel
totally...I own this macbook for a couple of years now and I'm sick of it. it's overheating constantly, it's slow when connected to external monitors, fans run at high speed constantly. This video is total BS
Nah don’t buy that machine. You will regret later
Why so? Would love to hear it
i bought one for cheap. the speakers are amazing, the touchpad feels good to use,the display is very good, keyboard feels better on my 2017 13" but it still feels good (450 cycles) on this machine so it's been used for sure. one important thing is the latest os is a little laggy and battery is not as good. Definitely use os from 1.5-2.5 years like bigsur or older for max. safari browser is meh on ads, i dont use app store so only firefox with ublock origin. overall better experience than most windows laptops to be honest. i was always a diehard cringe apple hater but their quality is top of the line.
@@adhizzle9985 ok you got one point but the way Apple tried to manage heat of those processor of 9th generation where ineffective compared to windows machines with the same spec. Its bullshit to reach its max temp only when connected to a higher resolution display. You can search online why are many people complaining about heat and certain moments the machine gets soft lock because of it. I own one and I don't recommend the base model, instead try to find the model with the AMD 5600M
Your sound is really bad, hollow and echoey It sounds like you're in a phone booth. Can't you hear how bad? Invest in a good lav mic, since any video is only as good as the audio.
No, no one should buy this one. it sucks...why? the fans run constantly, specially when connected to external monitors. also, for those using MS Teams because of work ...well, you'll hear the fans running constantly at a high speed...Teams will get slow and the whole OS lags. For those who want an Apple macbook, just stay away from this 2019 generation and buy the new M1/2 or so
Thanks for advice i almost buy it's for a main laptop
stay away from the last macbooks with Intel CPU. They are way too thing and don't get enough cooling which causes them to overheat and get really really slow. Go for their M series @@CheaRattana-d3k
