Just ran across your channel due to looking for stand out ideas for a 2001 Transam ws6, that I just purchased for $400. Dude, you're awesome when it comes to this stuff. You have definitely earned a new subscriber.
Look good, maybe spread the two lights out more to use more of the space in the tail lights and won’t have a big empty spot. Could make the signals be the rings flashing
So I just found your video and I’m wondering if this same set up is possible for me 2004 impala ss. Trying to up date the rear tail lights since they don’t sale any for it.
Have you wired any of these up to the car, I can't find any forums, I spliced the tail light harness and the Red wire left is hooked to the yellow wire, and right red is hooked to dark green, Black to brown and White to black. And for some reason the lights are getting a constant source of power, so they stay on when I turn the car off, and when I hit the turning signal they don't blink like I expected, that side just goes out, vise versa. I wonder if I have to get a sequential flasher to make the tailights flash.. I'm lost.. and it's a must cause I can't drive it like that 😂
Bro I living in Turkmenistan. I have a 96 trans am firebird and I want to converse front & end to 99 model. Can you help me, where I can get this parts in America?
Damnit I’m a year late the items outa stock, ik another website that makes the plastic lense but I’m not tryna pay 200+ for them does anyone know where to get the lense at for cheap?
I think they might be a little too close together. If those photos are real working tailights. They should be spaced abit further apart. When I go to install them I want them to look like the concept. But I'm going to change it up a little bit. Instead of semi lights I'm going to Use red infinity lights.
maldo72 should be pretty easy just ground wire. Then there should be 3 wires that go to the bulb already one ground then running and brake/turn. So wire the semi tails to the brake/turn wire and the halos to the running lights then ground it
@@Devon_Lewis awesome thank you ,,,, It would be great for you to make anther video explaining all of this which would help stupid people like me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@maldo72 did the wire go well because I’m done with the tail lights but I’ve been having my car parked for several days because the fuses keep burning if you have lmk how you did them please would really help a lot !
@@Devon_Lewis I figured lol I heard theres also another way to get clears but it involves alot of wetsanding and stuff cause you need lt1 tail lights with black grid you can take off the red lens and remove grid but I heard it's a pain in the ass to remove due to that wet sanding and all that
Dave Rodriguez oh ya you can take the lenses off take the red off and take the grid off like you said it’s just a lot of steps and takes awhile. Anything custom especially for fbodies takes so long lol
StreetCar Garage this process is not how you make them for Camaro. This only works for Trans Am. The Camaro halos is a totally different and easier process
Jorge Chediak no the car is photoshopped that pic has been going around the internet for years and everyone loved the tail lights but nobody knew how to do them. Which is why I made this video lol
Jason Oviedo you can look up @ smokey_lsx on Instagram he makes them. I’ve heard he is getting behind or don’t do them as much so if he don’t i will probably make a video later on down the road.
Chris Dutton I don’t have a car to wire them up to. But the halos for my car I used the outside smaller light to run the halos, then for the brake and turn signal basically wire it up to factory harness should be 3 wires ground, turn/brake and running lights. Wire it to the turn/brake and clip the wire for the running lights because you don’t need that for the semi lights.
Joseph Greco because these are cheap lights if you get the more expensive ones they will be brighter I have a good set but it didn’t have the mounting flange on them
Captain Dragon Slayer King because the thumbnail is photoshopped that a buddy of mine done and it’s been floating around the internet for years. I don’t have a Trans Am to fit them on but I know of about 5 people that has done them since my video and they look like my thumbnail.
I don't like the difference between running lights and brake...it's not distinguished enough. Like, I want the brake lights to be a LOT brighter than the running lights.
Handy Rams the reason why is because these are very cheap semi trailer lights I used just for this video as I have no use for these lights lol if you get the better quality lights there is a big difference
There cool as hell man, the only thing that would worry me. Is the halos are so bright, I’d be Afraid the people behind me wouldn’t see my brake lights.
Dude you could have talked while working. I wanted to watch you work not talk. Now with led lights they are so low voltage they make lights blink fast. Did you have to use resistors?
I think the only thing that you could have done to make it a little nicer is to use ABS plastic instead of the sign material and no painting is required either
Wow, I made that photoshop a long time ago on LS1Tech D; Nice to see someone actually produced it.
What tail lights did you use in the photoshop?

Possibly? Just have to think outside the box!
Cool man. Thanks for sharing this info. I'm going to apply this technique to other vehicles as well.

Hey,what panel peice between the tail lights
i wonder how it would look with the honey combs still threr
You wouldn’t be able to see the halos lol

That's some nice work man 💯
89imp03 thanks man!
You never showed how you got the taillights secured are they supposed to free float in the bucket or did you some how bolt them in
You just run a bolt through them to hold them together. Then just bolt the tail lights back in the car like factory
Would you do these for resale? Id buy a set
No! I no longer make parts for people! I used to but never again lol

I made these with tail light covers you don’t need the clear lenses but it does help!
Go to AVS and order from there website, I ordered from them about a week ago and they came in within the next week
Jayden the lenses from AVS (the company that makes them)are only like $80 and they do have them in stock right now
Question could i buy the covers break the original front off and replace them with the covers to act like the lense?? I have a 97 grid style
Basically what I did? Lol but you need the honeycombs they are bigger inside
Right but im not wanting to change the internals i was wondering if id be able to keep the grid inside.
@@dakuwolf2514 no you can’t unless you paint some lines or something on the covers. If you leave the grids you won’t be able to see the halos.
Right but im not wanting the halos lol. I wanna keep the grid style
