Great job with the taillights
You made lemonade out of this, Bill! Came out great. Mikes car looks and sounds awesome, too.
Thanks! His swap is goals
Great job shining up those turd lights. We all make mistakes. Don't be too hard on yourself. Thanks for the video.
tail lights look awesome! wiring was a nightmare for me previous owners cut so much out of my project
So far it's been ok for me. I'm doing a Terminator so the engine side of things won't be awful
I feel it on the taillights.😢. Yet, let alone they can break easy.
Definitely more fragile the older they get
Excellent work. Really enjoying your build. 🔥 🔥
Thanks! Plenty more to come
Liked the video. I've got a 2015 fiesta st I'm in my 40s and love Pontiac's my first car was LeMans a 4 door 1993 I think. Thanks again
Both my daughters love their Fiesta STs. Fun little cars to drive 👍
Those tail lights look fantastic now! Good stuff. I'm guessing you have, but if you haven't already then might want to watch a bit of LsxMatt maybe=building Firebird, Camaro etc
Thanks! Yeah I've been subscribed to Matt's channel for a pretty long time. Good stuff there and I definitely got some tips from him
Currently rebuilding my taillights, and I was wondering what you used as a seal when you put the two halves back together?
This stuff works great for headlights and tail lights amzn.to/3yg7sgW
Hello. If you don't mind, what is the rap called and what thickness is it and how is it applied? Did you use a hair dryer or a heat gun? Thanks
It's linked in the video description. It's VVivid light film and it goes on dry. You might need a heat gun. I used one sparingly
One more question. Is there a reason you used the smoke black Gloss tint instead of Light Smoke?
This is the light smoke tint
i have a set of 88 TA tail lights but a 91 bird with base tail lights, is that basically the same concept just swapping out the tail light harness?
I believe that there's more to it when swapping to the earlier tail lights. Might be time to check out thirdgen.org
Dang Bill. I'm going to have to send you my tail lights. Are you keeping your stock steering wheel? If not, hit me up.
Not sure I'm ready to do another set yet 😂 Factory wheel and airbag are not staying in the car
@@StebbinsGarage might be interested in the wheel and airbag. Would love to have a stock wheel back. Lol
