Hey Devon I was interested in making these myself soon, but I have a question. What LED light bar did you use for the Camaro in the old video that change colors? And how did you wire them? I've been searching for hours trying to look for the right stuff but need some help. Thanks.
Just seen this but look up “nightrider LED” on eBay it’s like $20 comes with a little remote and stuff and just wire it to the battery with a inline fuse
stephen baker you can but the edges will be terrible unless you have a insane steady hand. Also with a grinder it takes about 30 mins to cut the first panel I ever done was with a dremel and took about 2 hours to do.
Cool I kinda thought the edges would be hard to keep clean and maybe your method left them painted where Dremel w ouldnt. Thanks for info..i will be doing this soon..just got my 4th gen not long ago..was on my list to buy one...awesome for the info..

Because this panel is junk I have about 30 of them. If I made one for a customer I usually set it in grass on a towel.
nail file would clean them up nice.

All you need is tape, spray paint/plasti dip and a razor lol. Takes like an hour to do! You can get everything at Walmart.

Could you not dremel out the letters form the outside ? Make bad edges?
