Ben, after working on an LS Engine do you have a new found respect for their simplicity, reliability, and their ability to make a shit ton of power? Hey this might be a bit hard considering the distance, but what about a 3 way(or 4/5 way if That Dude in Blue or Engineering Explained wanted in)competition like this with Dustin? LOL Ben, Minutes 6:30-6:38 when you were handling the exhaust pieces in the background while he was talking was hilarious. You had that confused look on your face like "WTF Is This And What Do I Do With It?" 😆
Definitely get some subframe connectors on that fbody. The t-top cars flex a lot more over the hard top versions. They're pretty cheap and really make the cars feel 10x more planted. Oh and you can box in those rear lower control arms and panhard bar with some steel plates for cheap traction improvements. Love fbody cars. Haha
the biggest compliment I can give is this is my favorite series you guys have done so far, even if it's about a catfish camaro. i love the editing, the acting, and music in this video. really well done video
tall ben is a diabetic! i saw his dexcom sensor on his arm when he was fixing the broken manifold studs! my wife uses dexcom with her t-slim insulin pump. badass hardware, and costs more than the CamEro did!
You guys can hate and trash talk on the "Camarah" but first of all modern American muscle on a budget gives you two choices. 5.0 Mustang or 93-02 LT/LS Camaro. The choice was a good one 👍. Second of all you gained a new subscriber 🤘
Ben, your content is so good. I’ve been following since your build thread on one of the zx2 forums back in the day (I was in high school so roughly 10 years ago, not sure how old you are) but love to see how far you and the channel have come! Keep it coming!
In the future, save a bunch of time and drill bits by welding nuts to broken studs or bolts. The heat from welding helps to loosen them, and you get to use a wrench to spin them out.
This build reminds me of every shitbox my friends and I put together back in highschool. Doesn't fit? Hammer it! Shitty pipe cut? Weld enough to hold it!
You know you can delete this rust and gunk from bottom of the car and its parts by just using dry ice blasting? It will be new as from factory I get that from Sarah-n-Tuned.

No back purging huh. Lol this won’t last long for sure. I know Engine Masters showed dented headers don’t make a huge difference, but that looks like a lot of flattening. 4+4+4+4=16 diameter with 4x4=16 area, but 7+1+7+1=16 diameter yet only 7x1=7 area, so you can lose a lot smashing the pipe.
just out of curiosity, what made a turbo the choice over something like a supercharger? I'd imagine a supercharger being cheaper to put on and having better throttle response then a massive turbo which would in theory help for the autocross events and off the line for the drag race.
As a 4th Gen F-Body owner this is extremely satisfying to watch them tear out the interior and find their car has all the well known 4th Gen issues minus the window motors 😂
I like seeing how you involve others in your build. I never know how to effectively break up the work. Looks like you got "the turbo guy", "the muscle", etc

Great work! I can't wait to see how this goes!
LS untested with turbo, I'm with the Euro team on this one.
