This PS5 needs a new HDMI port. But it wasn't as simple as swapping out a new one. There was a short that I didn't know about until later. But did I fix it?
I accidentally dropped my ps5 last night and i damaged my hdmi port. Im glad i foijd your channel and just sub. How much will charge to replace mine? I can send it to Sony, but they said itll take 3-4 weeks smh
13:20 I saw those pointy bamboo stick Q-tips on amazon. They any good? they look like they perform way better than my "Walmart special" brand. Generally, your whole set up is pretty awesome.
The pointy Q-tips are okay. They don't absorb much and mostly push the flux and IPA around rather than soak it up. But they also get into tighter spaces, so they're good for that. Jeepers, the area around the port looked bad. Had the viewer used the wrong flux? Another great video :)

Thoses hdmi port are bad bro . I myself have 10 of the hdmi port with the exact same serial numbers 20061235 . Could be I got a bad batch
In this case, the port was fine. There was just a short under one of the pads. Once that was cleared and the port installed it worked fine.
