@@francismulbah7037 which country are you residing in? It will depend on your passport. You can Google Barbados visas and it will let you know the details. For me with a U.K. passport I can visit on a tourist visa but I have to have to have a return ticket so they know you will return home. You will be asked to give details of where you will be staying on the island as well. I cannot apply for jobs but visit purely on a tourist basis. Everyone’s case is different.
@@francismulbah7037 Buy tickets online. Or go to a travel agent in your locality. Find out which flights leave where you are staying. Could be direct flight or you have to change. The travel agent will give you advice. But before you buy any tickets you need to know why you are coming to Barbados… is it a vacation or for work. If work, then remember Barbados do not have jobs for non Barbadians unless it’s a job that has such specialist skills that their own people cannot supply. If it’s for a vacation then you will be ok with tourist visa as per the information in the link. Hope that helps.☀️🏝️

I have my citizenship by decent . My parents did the paperwork for me in my early 20s. I recently spent 6 amazing months in Barbados before I had to return to the States. I am eager to on come home for good. Working on making that happen.
Hey Alan, that is fantastic! Great your parents were so proactive. Keep working on your plans and watching the channel for information! Thank you for sharing and I am really happy you are part of our RUclips Fam. Keep in touch.
This is a really useful video, thank you 🙂 I have citizenship by descent and would agree that there are some great benefits whilst on the island. I am curious, as a UK citizen, is it necessary to book for 3 months then extend your stay, or can you book for 6 months in the first instance? Regarding questions for your property video, what are you thoughts on building vs buying in Barbados? Also, I heard that being approved for a mortgage in Barbados can be very time-consuming so it's quicker/easier to arrange finances in the UK, if you can. Have you heard anything similar?
Great questions for my next video thanks. Yes I have been told to go for the extension to be sure. But I could not understand why either if we have 6 months. 💕If I hear more I will update.😊
Hi Kenisha, lovely to hear from you. I am not sure from Jamaica, but I do know it’s high season. I used to find that the best time to travel from U.K. was late November or early December. Generally the closer to Christmas the more expensive it became. I would also recommend as a single traveller to look at Airbnb’s. Hotels I have found to be really expensive for single travellers. I know people who also stay with local people, it’s called homestays. They love it because they experience a more authentic lifestyle. Hope that helps you. Well done for following your dream. 💕☀️🏝️
Good afternoon. I am planning a visit to Barbados in July. I am hoping to stay for at least 6 months next year. I plan to retire in September of 2025, but if i want to move there during the winter as a result of the money from the sale of my house, which option would be best?
Hi Racoon, I know children of parents or even 1 parent born in Barbados are eligible but their children no, not yet, people are wanting this though. Hope this helps.
Hi, Lovely to hear from you. You would need a working visa and be able to fill a post that nationals could not fill. So it’s not a route I would recommend as Barbados has skilled workers who are born there who can do most jobs. I recommend Barbados for people who can work remotely, and get paid by international companies. The Welcome Stamp Visa is a great way for those people. Hope that helps. 😊
Stay in the UK. Barbados now operates like a banana republic. I'm not kidding; I have lived here for over a decade and the country has declined. And if you ever get pulled into the Court system...even for what should be a simple divorce - watch out. If you have kids here, do you know the Court can make your kids wards orally; with no written authority! It is true. Take my advice, stay in the UK or pick another Caribbean country as Barbados is a nightmare. xo
Jae, why does an individual have to apply for an extension before 3 months run out if my passport is good for up to six months? It’s just when I looked it up (on Google) of course it doesn’t mention applying for that extension.
This was what I was advised to do by people living in Barbados. So I did it to be sure. It wasn’t too much of a hassle really. But you are right it doesn’t specify that in google.
Which of the 5 procedures would you like to know more about?💕
