They are adding the sunroof with the 6speed for 24 ?! It was previously only available with the DCT the last couple years. I’m definitely sold now. Love the new refreshed front and back end, the dark wheels look sick, LED turn signals up front and yeah the sun roof is def icing on the cake for me to trade my FGT for it in the next month or 2. Beautiful and affordable performance car.
I hope so, i saw another review on the 2024 that said the sunroof was only going to be available on the DCT like before and the msrp was going to go higher to 36k. But now looking at this video im wondering if that's actually the case.
@@uy9572 I was lucky enough to go to the Hyundai Driving Experience another weekend and saw this very same car as well. I asked the reps there and they confirmed that the car on display was a pre-production model and the US will still only have the sunroof with the DCT 😭
dct has limitations for pwr upgrades manual doesnt. and the states have gotten the stick before its not new. also the record holding quickest and fastest top 3 EN's are sticks. 0-60:3.4 and 11.3@124 mph.
@08turboSS that is true. In Australia a performance shop called cherry tuning has pushed dct to its limit before its starts to slip while the manual with the same tune no issues.
The '24 improvements on the Elantra N are great especially the motor mounts and the new front look, I just hope that there could be a rear spoiler delete, that pedestal wing looks out of place on the Elantra N.
It looks so sharp now! The design looks intentionally thought out. The car now points forward with that revised nose and that's what makes it look much more aggressive. No weird or confusing shapes in the front grille, thankfully that's gone. Cant wait til mines arrives! Pricing still not announced in Australia though! Hurry up Hyundai!

The pricing in Australia will be significantly more, Hyundai dealers are stating around 60k drive away and not worth it when you can pick up a used DCT with no KMs for like 42k . I'll be waiting for the next gen with the 2.5L engine.

@@davothegreat9990 Solid choice but theres a couple of factors i look into, 1. im in uni and i would want a somewhat cheap, reliable car as i gotta focus of paying my course and looking into buying my first house. 2. ill need space for family and friend and the issue with a mustang is, u can only have 2 comfortable passangers the rear seats are non-existant. 3. i need something that looks modern and has all the modern tech. but if i didn't have uni and goals of buying my first house i would of been looking at something more expensive like the mustang dark horse which i think is a solid choice for under 100k AUD.

This is a significant upgrade, esthetically and performance wise. I'm considering trading in my '24 Integra Type-S for financial reasons. Also the fact I was beaten from a standstill at a red light by a stock dct '23 N. The bushings, forged wheels (33 lbs lighter unsprung mass, new braided brake lines etc etc). This car checks all my boxes, fits my kids, fun, track usable (warranty valid for track use), dct so my wife can run to get groceries etc. A tune and this car will beat cars twice the price. See Elantra N vs the World on RUclips. For the price, nothing beats it.
That's because there's more weight up front to support the engine bracing and wheel hopping. It's not a huge update, but when you add up all the minor changes, it's quite substantial.
@@CrystalNinja07 the weight change would be absolutely minimal.. all can be done in 5 minutes with the current gen seriously mate it's not a substantial upgrade LOL. The biggest unsprung weight change are those forged wheels which you'll see in the price increase.

If this particular car had an option to have a quiet setting like the rs5s and s63s etc then I would buy asap. Obviously some are more expensive but I guess you are paying high price point for the extra features. I think these i30s will evolve Into more lux and performance type vehicles so I may hold off til then. I thunk I may bite bullet and get a rs5 s5 or s6. Or a g70 and just mod it. I prefer the more silent sleeps but then with a switch of a button into dynamic mode it rumbles n turns into a monster lol

Ecotronic grey is much much darker than this, you would notice it even in poor lighting. But you could be right! Who really knows.

The year is 2024, most Hyundai markets have restrictions on ICE vehicle sales up to 2035. Most of those restrictions are gradual meaning in 2030 most markets require 60 to 80% of new vehicle sales to be EV/PHEV. They are not going to invest money to push out a heavy 2.5L model. Since 2019 they could've made the Veloster a RWD monster. Guess what they did? Nothing. That whole Albert Biermann article was taking his words out of context for click-bait. He's out of the picture, the 2.5L is fake news, and might even be slower than the current gen due to its weight. Elantra N facelift from 2024 is going to be one of their last performance N 6MT ICE vehicles. The rest are all going to be electric, with a possible year or two extension on the DCT Kona.
The tech on the inside is way nicer than in my 2023 Genesis G70, and this Elantra N cost significantly less. My G70 was $60k after taxes and all if I were to have bought it brand new

Cant help but notice the NGS button on the steering wheel even though it has a manual, is this feature coming to manual transmissions as well or is it something they threw in the car to make it to the showing?
Dealers are starting to receive a few allocations already. You'll see them on the road within the next few months and in some showrooms by end of January. The launch was delayed. Supposed to be Q4 2023, but delayed to Q1 2024.
The front is definitely NOT more aggressive. It’s way more subdued than the 22-23. Now, it’s of course a matter of opinion which one looks better, but it’s definitely toned down from the OG EN.
This is also subjective. It definitely IS more aggressive to me. It's more focussed and much sharper. The car points forward instead of looking squished with strange shapes that flutter off to the sides. Each to their own, but I love the constraint and intentional design of the 24.

Looks prettier but certainly less aggressive, the rear is an abortion fuck knows what they were doing there , probably on purpose to make people upgrade to the next FL. I think it looks less unique but that's just me. It's more mature and less racey and for some that's what they wanted. The wheel design is nicer and should have always been forged but I wouldn't be caught dead with black wheels. The i30N wheels on the pfl sedan with the flat badges is what I'll be rolling with until the 2026 new gen with the 2.5L engine update.

No, that's just a rumour. It's now confirmed that the 2025 model will be a carry over model. So no changes from the 2024 model.

It's nothing in the N. Has no functionality. In the N-Line model, that's the spot where the drive mode button sits.
