I finally got my 24 EN last week. I compared the exhaust to my friend’s stock 23 EN and we couldn’t tell a difference, even without my car being broken in yet
That’s good information. We drove my 22 EN vs the 24 EN at the same time, my wife in my car and I was in the 24 EN, and could tell a noticeable difference. The car was not as loud inside and out.
@@nprform I wonder if there’s extra sound deadening inside the 24. I also think a proper decibel meter test should be done. Ideally, both cars in the test should have over 1200 miles to ensure full break-in

If you want maximum power and performance the N all the way. If you what a sporty daily, then the N-Line is a great choice. I would compare it to the sportiness of a Civic Si, but without a limited slip differential and a DCT transmission.
I had a 2021 and have a 2024 n line. I honestly love the platform. In a straight line it feels sluggish but around winding roads it's amazing, you'll be smiling the whole time. It's about 11k difference in price, just a little too much for me. Funny thing about the exhaust on the n line, I find it louder than my 2021.
I think the Kia was nice and definitely sporty. It’s not a bad car at all. My daughter was looking at the Forte GT and both of us felt the Elantra was more comfortable. Also she liked the layout of the Elantra better.
@nprform didn't she like your N?? I like the sporty look of both. But really it's more aggressive than anything, that's what's so eye catching about it. But really why is the hybrid, limited grouped in with the n and the n line? When they are all so different from each other. Like I think the n and nline should be their own thing, because really the nline is a base n tbh
i wonder if my 18 elantra sport engine blows up how much it would be to get one of the 2024 1.6's from that n-line spec. and wonder if it would just bolt up to the 6 speed manual trans easy. hmmmmmmm
I like the N-line a lot. I might prefer the subtle styling of N-line over the N. But that 7 speed DCT worries me. Some say it's jerky and it's perhaps the only car in the entire Hyundai line up that use it. In almost any forums or videos I search online has someone complaining that they had to replace the transmission prematurely. I want to drive something sporty but that it is also smooth and reliable. What are your thoughts on the N-line transmission? (For reference my daily driver is a MK7 1.8T Golf which already kinda have a jerky automatic transmission hehe)
@@luisarsuaga7637 I had a Golf GTI prior to the Elantra N and I would say the transmission is very similar in jerkyness. The unfortunate side effect of a DCT transmission is the jerkyness it exhibits during slow driving, but it makes this up with how fast it can shift during spirited driving. As far as Hyundai reliability, that’s something up for debate. I can say my wife and I both have Hyundai DCTs and after about 3 years, neither one of us have had any issues.

I've owned an 2018 Elantra GT Sport since 2020, got it CPO back then during the pandemic for a deal & a half & I've loved the car, it's a hatchback & has tons of room + Hyundai loaded it with features for the price, like you get everything - pano sunroof, cooled seats, rear AC, decent Infinity sound system w/ sub, wireless charger, just a bunch of stuff that most common brands didn't offer back in 2018, esp for $30K. Performance has always been decent outta that 1.6t as well & although the 7spd DCT has started acting a lil strange over the past year I've been able to get a 6s flat 0-60 on my Dragy which really isn't terrible for 201hp & 195lbs torque. That being said, it's prob been the literal most unrelible car I've ever owned, at least newer car & working with Hyundai to use the warranty is always a nightmare, & then they'll end up having the car for 6+ months. So back in 2023 I got really sick of dealing with it, but didn't wanna get rid of the car bc I actually do love it, so just ended up ordering a 2024 Audi A4 Allroad Prestige DGM with the Black Optics package & just gave the GT Sport to my gf lol & I absolultely LOVEE the Audi. It's a good amount quicker, about 5s 0-60 but it does have 261hp/ 273lbs torque + their DCT is a wet system, like how the Elantra N's is so shifts are even better, but really these N-Lines & Forte GT's aren't nothing to sneeze at, just wish Hyundai would get their reliability down pat. Kia's replacing the Forte GT this coming year with the K4 & from what I saw, they're dropping 11hp from the 1.6t down to 190hp, & they're switching to a standard torque converter auto, which isn't a bad thing fr, like I said my 7spd has been having some weird issues over the past year & it's a dry system anyways, so low speed is always really jerky & you really gotta let them heat up a bit before driving or the clutch packs slip a ton
