I just picked up a 25 in dark blue and my god it's the best decision of my life. This car is an actual dream. The drive the sound the grip...its all INSANE. I legit feel like im glued to the ground even when running my Michelin ps4s in near freezing temps.... cant imagine what it will be like after the 600 mile break in period and in the heat of the summer.
Glad to hear you're enjoying yours! And that's interesting, I was told by Hyundai the 6MT had a louder exhaust tuning, but maybe they changed that at some point.
Got my Elantra N in 2022 brand new DCT auto, my daily driver. Its at 76,000 miles and not one single issue. Best racecar/daily ive owned. Highly recommend if youre on the fence about it
I'm 57 years old. I've owned over 12 sedans and sports cars in my life. This Elantra N, however, is the most fun and most bang for the buck. You feel like you're a part of the car when driving. It sticks to the road like glue and never fails to put a grin on my face every time I drive it. I have the cyber gray 25 N.
Who drives with their left hand holding onto the driver side grab handle? My left hand is generally on the steering wheel while my right hand operates the infotainment, HVAC, radio controls, etc.
I do. Sometimes while cruising on the highway I will rest my left hand on the grab handle. My son just bought a GR86 and it has no grab handles on either side and I consider that a major con for that car.
Hopefully it’s more reliable than my ‘19 Veloster N/PP was. To their credit though they did cover all three engine replacements under warranty. Took them 6 months on one swap. But they did it and I didn’t pay a dime for it. It was a lot of fun just terribly unreliable for me. Which is why I sold it and bought something better. But all that aside my N was tons of fun when it was drivable.
I'm getting this car in a few days. It comes with the summer wheels. I live in Ohio, and it's pretty cold. Will be ok with keeping the summer wheels on?
Seats are the reason i didn't get this car it is hard to get out of boltstering on the side is very hard and seat is not wide enough .I sat in a Subaru BRZ and the seat is very comfortable
Great car. The cons mentioned are negligible, and known before you buy the car. Do you want the cost to go up ? It's a drivers car, I could do with slightly softer suspension setting, and slightly higher tyre side wall. This would assist in ride comfort & tyre roar into cabin, with minimal dynamic drop for road driving. I'm not sure why car reviewers, continue to launch front wheel drive cars.... Fit for purpose is corners & fun, especially the cracks & pops in manual, on over run.😮
The model 3 LR RWD, is a better option. It's $35k after the 7500 tax credit. 0-60 mph 4.9 sec. 363 mi range. Personally, I'd rather have a RWD Model 3, it's the best value, less weight and very efficient.
11:51 FYI this is only 5 year/100 000km in Canada for powertrain, which isn't much different from many other manufacturers. Mazda is 5 year/unlimited km for example.
Elantra N is only FWD, 330i has RWD or optional AWD if you live in a snowy climate. Elantra N is way more sporty and fun stock, but the 330i can be sporty as well with mods, and can make a ton of power with relatively simple mods. Elantra N is a better bang for buck IMO, especially if you are buying new and or not planning or modding it.
The PFL DCT barely had any wheel hop. That was mainly the manual. If feel like you're seeing more improvements because you're comparing this to the manual PFL more than anything and the manual always had heaps of wheel hop , even the FL does you guys seem to have reviewed the manual version way more. I've driven both the suspension is slightly tweaked but the ride and steering response is better mainly because of the lighter forged wheels. There was also no DCT improvements? Don't know where you read that? Other then the increased air induction, engine mounts, steering tune and urethane rear-suspension bushings it's exactly the same.
For me it would be Elantra N, Mazda, then GTI. However I wouldn't get the turbo Mazda. It's more powerful but not necessarily that fun. For me compacts are about bang for buck, and personally I appreciated a base Mazda 3 or Golf, not the expensive ones. Elantra N is a different story
ill get one IF the dealer decides to give me $15k trade in for my Buick Verano 2013 24k miles on it and id pay for the car with a bank check, see how it goes
I hate hearing opinions because all of your cons mean nothing to me. I don’t care about handles, getting in/out of seats, idc about charging my phone while using AppleCar Play. It’s all pointless to me, when are you uploading the pov with NO talking?!
Its a shame that this car is so dam overly styled and ugly. If it looked as smooth as the civic, id seriously consder one. Hyundai really needs to rethink thier styling concepts
Totally agree they are stuck in the 90's with red lines, weird body flares etc.. looking for a kid's hot hatch racer style, when they are trying to sell to 23-year-olds. The civic and integra are more grown up, all the performance without all the adolescent flare.
@@mattpipke5716 The people buying this car don't give af about anything you just said. Its 10k-15k cheaper than the CTR/ITS making it affordable for a lot of people who are going to look right past the looks.

also the automatic is actually LOUDER than the manual, esp with the AC on. It's been well documented by various RUclipsrs
Interesting. Mine wheel hops in this cold temp and slips like crazing in the wet.
@@r3games1985 well im in the breaking period so im really not going above 4k rpms

Im glad they are still making this car. Its a hell of a value...
love my 25 CG N need to do a midpipe upgrade it makes it so much better!!!

So glad to hear this I’m downgrading from a x3m to a Elantra N and omg I can’t wait to beat on this car 😮

Just got my 2025. Took 2 years just to get a test drive. Well worth the wait. The car is aces.
Merry Christmas brother.
This is my next car!
Smart move.
Merry Christmas to you too! And very excited for you! I'm jealous.
Love it in the white, nice contrast
My Kona N gets 33+ mpg on the highway in Eco. This motor is all over the place. I’ve seen as bad as 13 when it’s being provoked.
My 23 EN DCT can get 40 MPG and I'm tuned.
Who drives with their left hand holding onto the driver side grab handle? My left hand is generally on the steering wheel while my right hand operates the infotainment, HVAC, radio controls, etc.
Once you've settled it's quite easy to rest your hand on the handle
I don't drive there regularly, but when cruising on the highway for some time, it's nice to have options.
When I'm driving I'm usually gripping the passenger side roof handle with my left hand.
@@icarus2k how...?

I think the facelift is 100000X better than the 2022 N. I like both but it looks way sleeker now.
Not just looks better also the suspension and traction better too
I’m still going to try to get a TCR edition, this car kicks ass for the price! DCT’s are cool!
Good review thinking about purchasing a 6spd manual.
I would highly recommend it if you can find one!
Charlie, Boxing Day is a paid day off in Canada, let me take the opportunity to wish you Happy Holidays. 🥳
I hope your Boxing Day was filled with right angles and car videos
Would love to see a review of a F150 XL Regular Car. Comes with the 10spd and the 5.0, in a short bed, regular cab truck. It’s quite nice.
That would be excellent! Unfortunately those are going to be really hard to find

im gonna pick one up when my 2 points come off my license cause insurance wants almost 1k a month for full coverage😪
The new rear end is a hack job. What were they thinking?
Yep looks way worse
I don't get it either. The original 22'-23' rear design was perfection and now it looks like trash. Too busy and far too much black plastic.
Yes they should have just left it alone.
wheel hop only happens in straight line when the LSD locks up both wheel to enhance traction
Yes every other RUclips video shows the 24/25 still have violent wheel hop
Not going to lie im honestly stuck between getting this car or the Tesla Model 3 Performance
The tesla is far superior, as long as it is a daily not a highway queen or long-distance traveler you will love the Tesla.
The EN is way more fun and has way more soul. The Model 3 is a way better utility-based daily driver
Boggles my mind how you could even compare these 2 cars.
Why performance? That's just overkill. Isn't worth the extra money and the regular AWD is still nauseatingly fast
The model 3 LR RWD, is a better option. It's $35k after the 7500 tax credit. 0-60 mph 4.9 sec. 363 mi range. Personally, I'd rather have a RWD Model 3, it's the best value, less weight and very efficient.

For $36,000. Mazda3 turbo hb, golf GTI, AND elelantra N, im decided which one is best value for money.
All great cars and I've owned them new. EN number #1, GTI #2 and Mazda 3 last.

I'm not sure I still like the Mazda3, though because of it awd and better interior, have alot better features.

Or course a sports car is going to have bolstered seats. If you don’t like bolstering buy a regular sedan.

Get black EN with black wheels and cover red accents with black paint.
Not in my case
Can’t get head in the whip 😂

Better with manual transmission.
