Tbh, leveled items are the reason why I download mods that auto level items or put them in max game stats. Sure it isn’t exactly lorefriendly, but damn it I want my cool sword to be viable at high levels!
Noice, always weird when I encounter something in games despite spending so many years with it - feels like I stumbled on cut content or some hidden discovery - then find out people found it is out easily many years before... 😅
My fav mod for oblivion is quest item scaler (or something like that). It makes all those shitty scaled weapons upgrade as you level up (similar stones included)
Ohhh. It's funny why Goblins use fists instead of their weapons, it's pure Bethesda moment. Several years ago, I asked this question on nexus page of unofficialal patch, I think, or some "code patch"-like mod, I can't remember correctly. Anyway. Dev responded to me, that Goblins like all NPC's prioritize weapons by it's final output damage, and Goblins as all "creatures" doesn't have any Skills (or they all, probably considered 100), and because of it, their Hand-To-Hand damage ended up higher than any weapons they can carry by default. Since some of them use weapons, I guess at some level Weapon output damage become lower than their H2H, and they start using fists. I think it was some Engine Fixes mod. Since I asked about issue, dude added optional flag that make Creatures ignore output damage and just use whatever weapon they had. Also I remember that Liches wont use their staves, and just hit with arms, but I think it was because it just used all staff charges.
Pls make more videos where you talk about games and nerdy stuff. simpsons adhd one and ones where you make jokes about games are highlights. you have a really unique personality and take on things. make more where you explain games and stuff in a funny. like the Battlespire and oblivion hidden quests video. they are sick. cheers
3:37 they actually do that in Skyrim too 😂 I’m doing a new playthrough and I had to wait until level 25 to do the college of winterhold just to get the Mage’s Circlet with the highest stats. It sucks cause a lot of the time what keeps me going is following a narrative and roleplaying, but it’s not easy to follow if you know you’re screwing yourself over by doing certain quests at low levels…
@@theodentherenewed4785 Agreed. I personally don’t like adding mods cause I’ve always been bad at removing them and then messing up game files but they should fix that in future games 😭 it’s so annoying. A lot of the times now I just code in the item at its highest level. I’ve learned to fix it that way lol
Eyo!! So StarField (imo) is kinda mid. Has a lot of good things. But mostly is "Eh" to me compared to Fallout and ES. But I do wanna see more videos on it. Maybe some of the incredibly broken things about it or just oversights that I like hearing redundant gripes about lol. Your the best at criticism in gaming and being funny while doing it. Edit: should prolly mention that Oblivion is my favorite Bethesda game. If that doesn't explain me enough.
That might be an option considering they have an entire settler base building in Fallout 4. It would be much easier to retool it into something similar to Hearthfire DLC from Skyrim where you purchase plots of land and build whatever you want. Sure would be nice if they also had option to download schematics from other players.
While i despise the level system in oblivion and morrowind. They felt more in depth than skyrim. Skyrim felt like they made the leveling system in a day. Also running in skyrim feels stupid compared to oblivion like irl you can swing a sword while full bolt run. Oblivion allows it. Skyrim? Nah you forget what the meaning of multi-tasking is when you sprint
yes, leveled unique items are a stupid thing for players. bethesda removed basically everything that could even cause the slightest bit of annoyance for players from skyrim (eg no sundamage as vampire), but they had to leave the worst of it all in the game and double down on it. getting eg the nightingale armor early on is great, until you level up 5 times and can throw that shit into the trash bin and dont get me started on daedric artifacts...
The enemy I hate the most, specific to Skyrim, are the Chauruses. They creep me out and they are hard to defeat, on top of that.
Their poison is extremely annoying.
@@eliaslind4339 yes, it is.
I hate the Skyrim bears because they damn near blow out my speakers with how loud they are.
@@GeraltofRivia22 I hate that needless side quest where you collect 10 bear skins, but I hate not completing tasks, so I always do it anyway.
Especially from that quest in the lighthouse so scary
Candles still burning? Food still fresh? Dust completely absent? Yep, I'm thinking we've got an abandoned cottage on our hands here fellas.
"40 gold for getting hit? this is like the real police" 😂😂 I almost spit out my drink, that was an amazing line
the sunken one being killed by that random ogre will always be funny
The Adoring Fan have me a jump scare whilst you were running for your life!
Moonotaur xD
oblivion is my favorite single player game ever I love all of your oblivion videos thank you man

Musta been a dragon break in the comments cause 3 separate guys all claim first

Oblivion is objectively the best Elder Scrolls game to date. Anyone who disagrees is a filthy casual.
I love the levelling system in Oblivion and I'm not sorry. I mean, Skyrim got rid of strength as an attribute and that made it really dumb.
I'm totally with you. Raising Endurance kept you alive in Oblivion with Strength right behind it and made the game fun.
Great video, Mason! It's been a while since we've seen the like. You should know that this kind of content is enjoyed by many! Thanks for making it!
One of my favorite games and there are so many quests in this game I’ve still never done despite numerous playthroughs.

Fortunately there is a simple mod to level the game items as you level so you don't screw yourself over.

There are mods for Oblivion and Skyrim to level up items with player level. It should be in the base game.

I play this game every damn year i have dozens of characters, and yet i've never done either of these quests. god damn.
I really love this channel!
Your the grand champion !
You never fail to make me laugh.
I remember doing this quest. I don't remember having as many issues but I was sneaking around in goblin caves for an ungodly amount of time

Wish Elder Scrolls 6 has quests like this. Be nice to build your own town and upgrade it even further like in some Skyrim Mods.
That might be an option considering they have an entire settler base building in Fallout 4. TES 6 is already doomed, it will be underwhelming and shit. Look at Bethesdas latest releases, total disappointments.
At this point. I’m not holding out any hope for the ES series. It’s been evident the last 3 games or more from BGS have been garbage.
It's Oblivion's famous "wonky leveling", you see Ogre = you'll never see a rat.
nice vid
I’ve made it into a cantina video my life is complete
It's called a Minotaur after the Minoan civilization. The ruins of which on Crete inspired the greek "archeologists" to write that myth.
In Skyrim it's only new places will be leveled with you, old ones will remain at level you had when visits it first time (or most likely, cleared it)
I deadass thought this was a mod until I googled it
It is a mod to fix it
Your health bar gave me anxiety the entire video
Good
Ahahahha, fkn random mob killed Sunken One 😂😂😂
Fine i guess i can download this game again.
WHOLESOME VID
Which stream was this from?
Oh man I forgot about this one loved it
lmao why did chat randomly start talking about femboys?

Love you canned tuna
Feel ya on the movie thing, its like, im putting enough attention to the thing i love that i can accurately criticize it sort of? Haha
There's this one Person at Bethesda, when he gets random pulled from a Jar to design a Creature, they have huge Pecs and Abs.
W wig
Will you do some kotor gameplay at some point 👀👀
The only enemy that gives me trouble is the mountain lion. Am I alone in this?
Items might be levelled in Skyrim, but it doesnt matter, because you can usually smith and enchant better ones :p
Ha!
I bout always forget i'm the grey Fox. LOL
Am I insane or didn’t cantina play the goblin totems quest earlier this year??
Wait maybe im thinking of the house building in the kvatch mod?
Are you able to look into Champions
I agree the level system is a bit screwed. Skyrim leveling system isn't good either. Honestly I really like the starfield leveling system.
Cantina I've been watching you since 2016, so in your RUclips pic what exactly is that drink your sitting next too?
Blue milk
Nice although I prefer your regular videos / not stream clip videos more :)
