There is a team of Morrowind modders that are kinda doing that, currently only Skyrim, Cyrodil and the rest of Morrowind are on construction, but maybe after those are done they will add more in the future
Couple things. One the lore about Khajiit's is true in fact in fact in ESO you'll see some cat form Khajiit merchants. Second the reason why it reads like some fan fiction is a lot of the early lore came from the Bethesda forums they had back during the early days. Like Daggerfall era. I don't know about the Khajiit one in particular but a lot of lore came from early fan discussions.
1:27 the other thing about elder scrolls lore is that a lot of the books that are written in the game especially when it comes to conflicts and wars, are written from the different sides so it's basically just propaganda that isn't true. For example there is one book in Morrowind that is written from both sides but it has the same title to confuse the readers into believing whatever is in the book no matter which version they read
It's one of my favorite parts about the lore. It makes the world seem much more realistic and lived in. Just look at how the Romans described Carthage to see how skewed historical writings can be.
Regarding what you mentioned in the beginning about lore, Fudgemuppet is the main source of all that Elder scrolls misinformation out there if you were wandering about that. 😅 They tend to just say things they want to be true sometimes and the fans latch onto it as gospel. Those same fans then add it to wikis.
"Thank you Mr. cantina, thanks to you I can finally sleep! It's been far too long i lost count at 10 years or so. But you picked the lock to my sleep chamber."
I’ve been watching you’re videos since I was still in school I use to watch ur videos all night till I fell asleep I’ve graduated now almost 2 years now stuff isn’t as enjoyable as it use to be. but you’re videos and you are entertaining and I still enjoy them a lot and still laugh keep going on brother 🤘
There´s also Skyrim´s Moonpath to Elsweyr. It´s more polished than this one and even though only the regular skyrim edition exist, it can work perfectly with special edition. There was also another Skyrim mod that created a khajiit caravan camp pretty close to Whiterun. That being said, I don´t think Bethesda will ever do any of the weird races as main games, they will start redoing the human races and elves before.
@@have_a_good_day420 But in the sense that adding Elsweyr represents a lot more work, so you'd expect a lot of cut corners and so many things that could've went wrong. While focusing on modding in a single city could've allowed for more depth and better quality.
So i found a mod in my big morrowind install that has a "portal to Elsewyr" spell. It really SPAWNS a full portal that you can jump through! but there is nothing really out there, yet. I think it is a future part of Tamriel Rebuilt.
you can go to elsweyr in oblivion base game, what you do is you go into a city and then you glitch on top of the wall and than you jump over it and run to elsweyr and you can go there!
Oblivion has to be the most impactful game i have ever played in my whole life. The fact that it was possible to buy a house and put all kinds of items in it or to use paint brushes to stack items is really impressive for that time. I even have a video on my channel of my old Oblivion home and this was on the xbox so i couldnt use cheats or mods man that stuff was insane!😆😆😆
I wish Bethesda had a department soley dedicated to Elder Scrolls. This team does not work on Fallout or Starfield. That way we'd already have Elder Scrolls 7, and they could dedicate every game to each race's region, eventually covering all of Tamriel. Also in that scenario, Elder Scrolls online would actually be good.
The Khajiit appearance explanation makes sense if you consider Labradoodles. Sometimes they look more like Labrador Retrievers and sometimes they look more like Poodles.
7:05 this reminds me of a meme talking about how "woke" TES would be if it were made today. Thing is, they specifically used examples of what would "change" that is already reality in the lore/games. Pelinal is gay, Boethiah is gender fluid, Ulfric is a racist conservative, etc. There's some mods supporting this so it's hard to say what's "original" and what's from those, but I remember more stuff in those houses you can buy when I bought my Rimmen house.
You gonna explore any more provinces in Oblivion? A bunch of good mods for Hammerfell, Black Marsh, Valenwood, and Skyrim as well. And of course Morroblivion.
So, I think that we're getting Fallout for MTG instead of Elder Scrolls because it helps differentiate the Universes Beyond line from the mainline releases. Kinda like how we got mostly Warhammer 40K for those releases instead of just Warhammer Fantasy, so things didn't get terribly confused. Plus, we all know that a Cliff Racer card would be stupidly overpowered. And we don't want Universes Beyond canceled because a Cliff Racer Nic Fit deck takes over Legacy.
@@TheCantinaChannel I grew up in the Belfast area, but I had to move to where the money is. If you ever find yourself up here, come to Taste of India. Tell them Fox sent you. I'll hook you up!
When they stop making quests that about relative went missing, and you should return some of their piece of equipment as proof of their demise. It's like, literally same Narfi-Reyda quest-crap in Hogwarts Legacy, and it's not even RPG, it's just Prototype with brooms.
I think the Khajiit breeds are cool, but indeed the Omhe-rath (the ones looking like Boosmer) it´s just stupid. I think they should rewrite that part of lore and limit them to the ones we see in TESO, 7 to 8 breeds is far more doable, and 16 breeds it´s just a mess, the difference between normal and "rath" is too small in most cases and we ain´t never gonna see 16 different Khajiit bodies. 7 to 8 though, perfect.
Memories of walking to the edge of the map trying to cross over into the other provinces haha
Btw You should check out the Jungle Cyrodiil mod i've always been curious about it
same
I like the idea of Elder Scrolls lore being spread around like rumors, as that's how mythology works IRL
wow, this looks better than I thought, didn't expect there to be quests. it's kind of funny that you can see Imperial City from Elsweyr
I'm pretty sure that the moon birth khajiit is cannon, it's brought up in the elder scrolls novel 'the infernal city'
Oh ya that would be canon then
This is what TESVI should look like
When Skyblivion releases I hope we'll get a Beyond Skyrim-style modding project for it that adds in every province but during Oblivion's time.
There is a team of Morrowind modders that are kinda doing that, currently only Skyrim, Cyrodil and the rest of Morrowind are on construction, but maybe after those are done they will add more in the future

New blueberry ice cream man series gotta happen man
We should see him in Skyrim 😁
this mod was my youth man. 10 year old me was so hyped over going to Elsweyr lol. spend hours there riding on a elephant xD

Where is Elsweyr? Well I guess it's not In Cyrodiil, it's ELSEWHERE.
(Sorry this is literally the first time I thought of this.)
bro I was just about to write the same thing and went into the comments to check how to spell Elsweyr lmaoo
Talks to a man literally named "The Shepherd."
"A sheep! You gonna kill that guy? Another sheep? What the f*ck?! What are all these sheep?"
I didn't even notice that was his name
Watching you is pretty nostalgic. Hope you’re doing well I’m an adult now watching you brings those Oblivion childhood memories back

The donuts really do taste like play-doh though…
I love this mod plus all the submods for it too. Never play without them

oh you have your old spiky hair back!
Hope we get a game set in Elsweyr one day. Or else this and Beyond Skyrim are the closest we are going to get to it lol unless you include ESO
ESO is probably the closest we'll get for a long time
But isn´t TES VI going to be set in Elsweyr?

Elsweyr Mod - Oblivion! 🏜️
I believe when you paid your fine they took your stolen property, right? Which included the keys you took for the quest.
Ya I realized that when editing the video. Knowing me I completely forgot I went to jail by then.
You missed an opportunity to say "where is elswyr, else where!"

Eso did an amazing job with the Khajiit lore and elsweyr. It’s been holding the lore on its back for a decade. This mod looks awful
