Had an inspiration to make this awhile back, started recording/editing on June 11th and now we're here! Making TBRB customs is no easy feat, but I hope this tutorial will shed light on the process so that more creators can come into the community. Like I said at the end, I might make a part two with more advanced stuff in it but that will take awhile to make.
Also there's like 3 parts where I say I will talk about stuff later on in the video but don't, was too lazy to rerecord it so L.
Also Also I forgot to mention injecting lipsync into the milo at 14:38 ik I'm stupid. It's as easy as opening onyx other tools, going to the lipsync tab, selecting the lipsync.mid with the midi file thingy, and then click update TBRB milo and select your milo. Sorry :(

how do I render the instrument files in reaper? and I dont understand alot of it
it says the files on github were archived. is there any other way i could get mackiloha?

is there some way to "extract" only the video without putting on a console?
No, the dreamscape is built as the game runs, you can only “extract” the video by recording it in performance mode

You can add a [hist_clip ()] event to the beatle's track in the milo and add the right clip in the paranthesis. There's a full list in Tophee's supplementary guide under "Keys Clips" that I recently added. I also plan to get more in depth in the part two.

Been trying to make my own custom for a while but everytime i try to load the game instantly freezes but it works in practice mode.
Could be for a few reasons, could be missing [end] in events, maybe a weird issue with the milo. Try taking files from other customs and temporarily replacing your files with them to see which item is the source of the problem
@@Jimmehzz I replaced the .lipsync files in the milo with a different song and that worked so its something to do with my lipsync

It’s in the google docs in the description, you’ll have to download the zip off github and install mackiloha there

It's a work in progress but I've been busy recently, I'll come back to it eventually
