Totally disagree with you on the extended range fuel tank! I purposely did not spec it on my GT3 because the GT3/RS/ST is not a daily car. I don’t want more stale gas in a special non-daily sports car whose majority of its life will probably be in a garage. Extended range fuel tank for quasi-daily - absolutely…. Beautiful car but I fail to see why Porsche even puts these special/rare cars on the Build Configurator? Similar to allocations - Typical Porsche BS games!
#1. It’s fun to watch these builds regardless. #2. If I could be lucky enough to get one, I’d drive it as much as possible. Not a daily driver but certainly no garage Queen.

What does it take to get an allocation?
Will vary depending on the dealer but typically many purchases of other Porsches at a particular dealer creating a good relationship.. but again may vary drastically per dealer!
not for me... I'd say that the 911 Dakar is the ultimate driver's 2-door car...
