you are complaining about a weaker processor on a device wich will only load emails and messages, and maybe sometimes show the way to the next gas station. like, we are not even talking gaming. there is no need for a strong as processor. a stronger processor would do the same tasks, the same time, using more power, draining the battery quicker. get your priorities straight
You've clearly not used Wear OS. Most media outlets/tech reviewers are hoping for the same thing. And to automatically make the assumption that the 3100 processor will consume more battery is incorrect as well. As a chip size is reduced battery is typically increased. This is going from a dual core to a quad core as well. Look up chipset architecture. Maybe you'll learn something.

And please don't start with the price. The stainless steel version has no other benefits than the materials and the price of the aluminum watch is cheaper than the LG Watch W7

they could have made this better this by making the middle part of the hands transparent and the outer lining of the hands as thin as possible. I already find the hands covering date and day on analog watch annoying what more the texts.
I like this idea. But those pins at the back... my LG G watch had those to and i kept getting electric shocks!! My galaxy watch has nothing of those issues.
You mentioned MyKronos, if you haven't used one yet, u lucky, it's got a pretty bad OS, isn't very useful and extremely fragile, I broke mine day one and after a while not using it it just outright stopped working
I'm not sure where to begin. Those physical hands in the way of everything else look really annoying. Really old processor. No heart-rate monitor, which is one of the main reasons I want a smartwatch/fitness tracker. LG has this tendency of either trying different things that don't work (the modular G5 smartphone), or doing things half-hassed, such as going with old processors on new devices. There is opportunity out there. Right now, there is no signature Wear OS smartwatch. Is the W7 going to be it? I seriously doubt it. Why not get all your ducks lined up in order - latest processor, heart-rate monitor, no gimmicky watch hands, etc. - and genuinely compete in the market, instead of this?

LG never seems to get it quite right...close. The idea is interesting but the reality is that the hands obstructs the messages. Apple has shown people use the watches for two things...health, notifications and then watch. This watch lacks heart rate which seems like a big omission for the price.
Hmmm... I do not see how this makes their new smartwatch a must buy. A few images I have seen of the new watch screen, the analog hands actually made it difficult to read notifications etc. It's just intrusive and not well planned out. "Fast Enough".. for $400+...LG fails again.
What would’ve made awesome, control the watch hands magnetically from behind the screen. That way they can move out of the way or be manipulated to point or interact with the screen. Or Attached the hands to a ring on the bezel of the watch instead of the center. And allow the hands to also articulate up or down to move clear of the edge. It’s novel, but a smart watch is best without physical hands and virtual watch hands.

I feel like this watch doesn't bode well for the future of smartwatch battery life. They designed an entire watch based around what happens when the battery dies.
My Tissot Touch is over 12 years old & has a touch screen of sorts where the hands rotate to different positions when you touch the watch face. Also the hands on it moved like the one on this LG watch when you selsect the compass. Nothing new, just new to the Google generation. $450 🤔🤔🤔🤔 No thanks. We need a watch like the Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy Watch with Google on it. The perfect combination I think. Long battery life, waterproof & Google assistant rather then S voice or Bixby.
