    You are SO RIGHT!! It is always a change "learning" process with our hair. But for me, I find that as a joy because it helps me fall in love with the Magic of our hair!! What a blessing! #CupHalfFull

    I love your hair.....you inspired me to big chop and start over. I also have 4C type hair and over the years they would tell me to get a relaxer or straighten my hair, however once I started going natural my hair has felt better and has grew. You showed me that having a TWA isn't so bad and that there are things you can do with it. Thank you!😊

    Even after I quit getting relaxers I wore my hair straight so the most I did before washing was run a comb through it. I used to be able to finger detangle my old wash and go because the curls would already be pretty stretched out but now, and especially since i just cut my hair, my latest technique is to add water (my hair's best friend, I swear) and put a little oil on top of that and then just gently separate and wash as usual after that. I know not everyone likes finger detangling, but I feel like majority of naturals benefit from doing something to their hair right before washing/co-washing (i.e. gently pulling it apart to release the shed hair, finger detangling, pre-pooing, etc.). It's interesting how you have to revise your tactics as your hair changes/grows. I'm learning that now more than before.

    Another RUclipsr suggests doing a dry detangle with conditioner and castor. It actually works really well for 4c hair. I actually found that not wetting my hair during the dangling process I reach for my scissors less often. And, if you really want to get out all the knots, use a paddle brush after dangling with your fingers. Just a suggestion! Great video!

Your channel is literally the only channel I have put on notifications for new posts, I get super excited when notifications pops on my phone. And your hair is beautiful! I think I have more or less similar texture, but can't get mine to stay so beautifully coiled all the time. How do you do that? I keep going back to the comb all the time!!

    This is a great video. I also have 4c hair and lately I've been adding my cheap conditioner to my warm water in a spray bottle. This has saved me tons of time when finger detangling. It takes me about 10 minutes now 😀

    That conditioner is the bomb! It only works well for me in the summer/warmer months due to the ingredients and consistency of the product but it really is a lifesaver. Helps me detangle and go like a breeze. I'm glad you think so too ;)

    I'm a transitioner to 4c and detangling is my biggest nightmare :( no matter what I do my hair gets tangled and STAYS tangled :( I've tried detangling before and during my wash but when my hair dries its still really tangled and horrible. If I leave the detangle till after my wash it's really painful :( I'm at a wits end, this is already my second time trying to transition as I gave up last year and went back to relaxing.

I need some help with co washing I wash my hair once and it was a tangled mess I have since them learn two parted and watch the section at a time I am very tender headed have very soft hair and I just need some help I don't know if you have a tutorial for the best way to wash your hair? I also wanted to know when do the twist out my twist outs unravel my hair so soft is there a method you can recommend I put it down I've done bantu knots and they seem to work but I would just like to be able to twist it without having to pin it down. Help....please... Laydsmiles.

    Ok, so when you detangle, you use conditioner when you start your finger detangling? How hot/warm do you keep the water in the spray bottle as you're doing this?

    • @NaturalMe4C
      @NaturalMe4C  9 лет назад

      Gsxrchick79 I usually add really really warm water to my bottle (more in the winter) because by the time the spray reaches my hair it cools down a bit. :) Other than that it's usually just regular warm lol
