    Had me a 77 Sedan deville...... It was a hooptie.... Bumper fell off once, I later drilled holes in the bumper fillers, twisted coat hangers through to hold tail lights...... Only year you could get away with that since tail lights and bumper were one unit....... What state is your yard at Pete?

      @@andrewandres148 south dakota. I didnt know that 77 was only year the taillights were part of bumper

      @@Cheap1981 I believe it was... Cause after my fix, i looked at other models with that in mind... Im pretty sure 78 and 79 tailights were seperate from bumper?

      Go figure, I had two '77 DeVilles first a Coupe and later a Sedan DeVille. I too know of rear bumpers giving way, happened while attempting to jack it up to change a tire in 15°f weather! The soft metal plates between bumper and frame seem to be the culprit.
