Looks identical to the '56 I had in 1978. The car ran as smooth as the modern ones. Didn't keep it long as someone from work kept bugging me to sell it plus i had another vintage car at the time so he got it for what I paid for it.
I think there are some adjustments to be made there! I have a '56 that wasn't started for 20 years! and I can get it to start after 1/2 key crank!!! New ignition parts, rebuilt carburetors and new battery
I once had a 67 pontiac with a very well tuned quadrajet...you would swear it was fuel injected, it started and ran so perfectly. In canada from 90 degrees to - 4 degrees. It never stumbled.
365 in 56. 1955 was last year for 331...but that same block was used up into 62...365 was last made in 57. Then it was a 390. 61 or 62 (for sure) had a spin on oil filter. 59 did not. Teh 63 and 64 390 were different.
Iam just as impressed with the battery as anything else.

I am glad that you got it started, but the sound of the cranking before it started was really good! Great!

@@System6VideoProductions more cold/hard starts needed too though! ☺️☺️
Cold start after one week? Prime it? You mean pump the accelerator? What's the temp out?
I appreciate the kid didn't abuse it. These old cars need a delicate touch lol. Does it have a 331?
