Two very important tips that I got from the video
1. The place on N-445 must be the city of the interview, not the one of the mailing address.
2. Get IDs for all guests (even though they didn’t ask for IDs specifically, it was helpful to know this.

As a side note, what also helped was bringing my employment authorization card. I surrendered it along with my permanent resident card as well.

And i already went back home in my country Philippines using Us Passport it was a month ago i was in vacation for a month and 2 weeks. How was the interview overall , easy ?
I filed my application on Feb 15 and did biometrics on Mar 20. I m still waiting for call letter for interview. My online account shows 8 months of processing time.
How long was your total processing time ?
@@pdp_nag For my case it was about 1.5 months. But I believe that really depends on location and a specific application.
My interview passed pretty easy but I worked hard to prepare. Civics questions / application review. Once again - thank you to this channel.

The wait time at the waiting area was more than 1 hour. I was there at 1040 am. But was called in at 1150am. Actual Interview was less than 15 minutes.

Hi Jackie, I found this video really helpful before my oath ceremony tomorrow! Thanks for pointing out to use black ink for everything (I was ready to bring my blue pen to fill out the N445) including the naturalization certificate. Btw, I believe there's another travel document you can obtain that is not a passport: Enhanced driver license in some states like New York allows you to re-enter the US via land border from Canada or Mexico. You can make an appt in the local DMV and it comes in 2 weeks.

I just did my oath ceremony today at the San Francisco location. Arrived an hour early because why not. They started letting us in 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. I brought my partner along but no guests were allowed in. We were given our Naturalization Certificate before we were even sat down. Took about a half hour to get everyone situated. The ceremony itself took about 10 minutes. The supervisor/officer made a quick speech, we stood up for the oath itself, then the video from Biden was played, then we left. There was no option to get your US passport afterward. Also, I had filled out my N445 in blue ink by accident and it didn't matter. Regardless, thank you for your great series of videos!

Can I travel abroad before the oath? I’ve already passed my interview and got a date for the oath.
Hello Jackie. Thank you for your channel, it helped me a lot in preparing and successfully passing my Citizenship Interview. I have a question - in my online account, USCIS sent me a letter with the date of my Oath Ceremony and it says that if I do not receive it by September 16th, I can print from my account. The problem is that I am a truck driver and it is sometimes very difficult to get back home from other states. Question - will it be a problem if I print the Oath Ceremony Notice now, that is, before the date specified in my account? Thanks in advance for your reply!

Hi Jackie, for people who has changed name/last name the N-445 form at the bottom signature: ¿do you need to sign with your maiden name (old name) or your new name changed? Signature or print name?
(The letter came to my maiden name) I’m confused.
2nd question: about your certificate of naturalization it will come with your new name changed , Do I need to sign with my new own signature or do I need to sign my print new name ?
