Thanks Jackie. I got my passport today, 23 days after applying at post office. i paid expedited fee and expedited shipping, standard book only, no card. I applied on same day i took my oath on. I took oath a month after the tests, which were a month after i applied for naturalization. All in Wisconsin. Everything was super easy and fast, everybody everywhere super nice, friendly and professional. I'm impressed and proud all these folks that helped me are now my compatriots. Let me tell you that you're the best. Your video helped my wife to pass the test and interview. Her N-400 was approved on jully 23 and September 30 she received the oath letter, it took more time due to name change. She will attend the oath ceremony on October 16. And as we my 1-130 is pending i think they will speed it up after her naturalization. Your videos has guided me to apply for my wife her I-130. But i, iam still in Africa. Be blessed

I applied in USPS and it has been 5 weeks i confirmed by USPS there was letter in system who informed 5/7week weeks pending so will you inform I applied it by self in USPS will you inform me is it coming by mail so is it not called in a person?
I passed my citizenship and now applying my new passport, and also I found out you can get application form DS11 at the post office, then make an appointment, which I made my appointment for next week.

Definitely both. So when you travel you can use your Passport card as ID so you don’t need to carry the passport. If you got robbed you still have the passport

We found out if your having a difficulty travelling a lot & when called out any activity your available or to vote to make some change it is greater idea we are always strongly suggest someone to apply otherwise just a paperwork with greater Name thank you everyone for sharing

Hi Jackie, I followed this video, and I applied for my first ever passport this past week. The processing time will be 6-8 weeks. I will let you know when I get it. Thank you so much for the video.
Hi Jackie, followed your tips and I just submitted my pre-filled DS-11 form with my payments to the Post Office. I was actually well prepared than most, as others were filling their applications by hand. One thing that caught my eye, was that my naturalization certificate was stapled to my DS-11 form by the Post Office. Puncturing holes in the certificate didn't seem right, please let me know they're suppose to do this.
Timelines are now 8-11 weeks for Routine service; 5-7 weeks for Expedited if you have applied on or after 10/2/2023. This is only the timeline for when the US Department of State receives your application as it can take up to two weeks for them to receive your application and up to two weeks to receive your passport (once it is printed).
@@aniyahmuah1112 i was confused too, but trusted Jackie's video and info from the passport website where you fill out the form. It's easy. In my experience American paperwork is always easy. Don't worry, just go for it. $60 for the expedited fee wasn't too terrible price to ease my mind. But i got mine way sooner then i expected, couldn't be happier. Good luck and happy travels!

That is right but they do send the birth certificate back. You only need to know your SSN unless your ID is out of state and/or expired where you need a SSN card as a second proof of secondary ID. They do not keep your license at all.

Hi Jackie, followed your tips and I just submitted my pre-filled DS-11 form with my payments to the Post Office. I was actually well prepared than most, as others were filling their applications by hand. One thing that caught my eye, was that my naturalization certificate was stapled to my DS-11 form by the Post Office. Puncturing holes in the certificate didn't seem right, please let me know they're suppose to do this.
They did the same thing to my birth certificate!!
Timelines are now 8-11 weeks for Routine service; 5-7 weeks for Expedited if you have applied on or after 10/2/2023. This is only the timeline for when the US Department of State receives your application as it can take up to two weeks for them to receive your application and up to two weeks to receive your passport (once it is printed).
Mine took just over three weeks, expedited and expedited shipping, standard book, no card
If my trip is on March and I apply in December do you think I’ll be fine. This is my first time applying and I’m genuinely confused
@@aniyahmuah1112 i was confused too, but trusted Jackie's video and info from the passport website where you fill out the form. It's easy. In my experience American paperwork is always easy. Don't worry, just go for it. $60 for the expedited fee wasn't too terrible price to ease my mind. But i got mine way sooner then i expected, couldn't be happier. Good luck and happy travels!

You can contact the state department and you should be able to get an appointment at an agency if you have proof of travel.
Hi Jackie! Loved your video!!!! Very helpful. Questions, do I need to make copies of my I.D/License and social security card? Is there a reason they want a copy of these things if they won't collect them from you?

That is right but they do send the birth certificate back. You only need to know your SSN unless your ID is out of state and/or expired where you need a SSN card as a second proof of secondary ID. They do not keep your license at all.
