I got six out of six questions right. We stopped after I answered six question right. Then it was onto the reading and writing portion. Since I'm already proficient in English, it was a piece of cake. Reading: George Washington is the Father of Our Country. Written: Alaska is the largest state. Finally we went over my N400 application. My name. My birthday. Do I owe any back taxes? Have I ever been arrested? I answered all the questions and passed. I got to do a same day oath ceremony. I can't wait to get my passport so I can go visit my uncles and cousins in Australia.
I passed 😍 Reading question; how many senators do we have ? Writing question; we have one hundred senators. Question asked; 1-what is an amendment? 2- mention one war fought by the US from the 1900? 3-who vetoes bills? 4- what is one power of the federal government? 5- Name 3 of the 13 original states ? 6-Name two national holidays ? He stopped after I answered them all correctly 😍
I passed my interview ! The process went so smooth and easy . My officer was such a nice, friendly lady. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I got asked 6 questions, then I read and wrote a sentence. After that we moved on to my application. Nothing difficult, as long as you know your application and do civics test. I was so stressed out about the interview, the stress took over my health. So you don’t have to even worry about it , just go there and make it happen!

Just passed my interview on monday, I answered the first 6 although i got nervous and said the wrong answer on the first one but the officer was very nice she gave me a chance to change my answer LOL. I honestly don’t remember which question she asked but im pretty sure about 1, 2, 5. I dont remember any of the questions have multiple answers. 1. which political party is the current president? 2. When is the last day you can send in federal income tax forms? 3. What is the rule of law? 4. Who makes federal laws? 5. We elect president for how many years? 6. Who makes federal laws? My appointment was 2:40pm and i was just chitchatting with the officer for a bit and she told me i couldve went to the ceremony if i finished before 3. It was like 3:04pm when i looked at the time and i was almost done at that time so everything was so fast. I was the last one so it was empty 😂 but yeah, i had a very good experience. No additional documents were asked only GC, passport and DL. Im single if that helps 😊

Hay Jacky, Can you answer my question? I have two cases I'm unsure if I should discuss during an interview with an officer. The first case involved a ticket where the court ruled in my favor and waived the fine. The second case involved a $3500 charge from a medical doctor for dental treatment that insurance didn't cover. The court ordered me to pay $50 monthly since I couldn't afford the charge. Should I inform the officer about these cases?
I have green card for more than 17 years and have applied for Medicare and Medi-Cal since last two years. I obtained them through the approval of the Social Security Administration without lie and misleading. If I was asked by the officer about the question of Have you obtained any public benefits in the United States like in your mock interview video? My answer is Yes. Would it affect my pass the citizenship interview? What will the officer subsequently ask if I answered yes? Thank you for your feedback.
I would suggest you talk to an immigration lawyer. If you've been paying medicare and social security taxes for the past 17 years you may be entirely entitled to those benefits without needing to be a citizen and you should be truthful about this when asked. The officer mostly wants to check that you haven't claimed to be a citizen in order to get benefits you were not entitled to. I'm not clear on what benefits we are entitled to as a permanent resident and that's part of the reason I decided to become a citizen to leave no doubt about what I am entitled to when I retire.
@@martinlord8837 I got the answer of the same question from the other RUclipsr that the Medicare and Medical have no longer been the public benefits since from March 2021.

I found the test really easy but I could see it being more challenging for those whose mother tongue is not English. The officer didn’t ask any vocabulary meaning. I got my greencard 4/30/19 and I was out of US for 8 months. But I start my 3 yrs counting the time I got back here in US. I lived in Oregon state.

Just passed my interview on monday, I answered the first 6 although i got nervous and said the wrong answer on the first one but the officer was very nice she gave me a chance to change my answer LOL.
I honestly don’t remember which question she asked but im pretty sure about 1, 2, 5. I dont remember any of the questions have multiple answers.
1. which political party is the current president?
2. When is the last day you can send in federal income tax forms?
3. What is the rule of law?
4. Who makes federal laws?
5. We elect president for how many years?
6. Who makes federal laws?
My appointment was 2:40pm and i was just chitchatting with the officer for a bit and she told me i couldve went to the ceremony if i finished before 3. It was like 3:04pm when i looked at the time and i was almost done at that time so everything was so fast. I was the last one so it was empty 😂 but yeah, i had a very good experience. No additional documents were asked only GC, passport and DL. Im single if that helps 😊

Hay Jacky, Can you answer my question? I have two cases I'm unsure if I should discuss during an interview with an officer. The first case involved a ticket where the court ruled in my favor and waived the fine. The second case involved a $3500 charge from a medical doctor for dental treatment that insurance didn't cover. The court ordered me to pay $50 monthly since I couldn't afford the charge. Should I inform the officer about these cases?
I have green card for more than 17 years and have applied for Medicare and Medi-Cal since last two years. I obtained them through the approval of the Social Security Administration without lie and misleading. If I was asked by the officer about the question of Have you obtained any public benefits in the United States like in your mock interview video? My answer is Yes. Would it affect my pass the citizenship interview? What will the officer subsequently ask if I answered yes? Thank you for your feedback.
That's why is not good to live with government benefits 🤷🏻♀️
I would suggest you talk to an immigration lawyer. If you've been paying medicare and social security taxes for the past 17 years you may be entirely entitled to those benefits without needing to be a citizen and you should be truthful about this when asked. The officer mostly wants to check that you haven't claimed to be a citizen in order to get benefits you were not entitled to. I'm not clear on what benefits we are entitled to as a permanent resident and that's part of the reason I decided to become a citizen to leave no doubt about what I am entitled to when I retire.
@@martinlord8837 I got the answer of the same question from the other RUclipsr that the Medicare and Medical have no longer been the public benefits since from March 2021.
