Unearthing the Mysteries of J.J.'s Pizza Parlor, a Place Almost Lost to Time

- Many Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre restaurants had a second-life as another entity. This is the research (thus far) about one of those retrofitted restaurants - J.J.'s Pizza Theatre.
I’d love for you guys to do some digging on the second Fun Time Pizza location, which featured Cyberamics from the Pizza Time Theatre in McAllen, TX. No photos are available, but I can confirm after talking with multiple sources that they were indeed Chuck E. Cheese characters only “redressed” to fit to a beach theme.
There’s video of McAllen from 1993 and there are no cyberamics
@@Rockafirefan99 I forgot to mention that this was in the late 90’s.
The most distracting thing about this whole thing is that JJ is wearing a tuxedo that looks nearly identical to that of tuxedo Chuck, yet had closed over 3 years before tuxedo Chuck even existed
JJ is actually wearing Chuck E's bandstand outfit
I hope that one day maybe some of these bots will be recovered one day (like "wolfman zapp" and "D.r dux") but it's a bit unlikely.
Wolfman was confirmed to be destroyed.
@@cec_oregon It's not surprising, but can you provide a source?
@@tekka8771 i dont remember exactly, but i think “chuck e entertainment” made a post about it.
This place played regular PTT showtapes with Chuck’s name dubbed over in a loud, unfitting voice. The walkaround was kept the same but with a black mask tied around his head to look like a raccoon.
How do you know this?
@@looneybird25_WoodieWoodChucks I got the info from a Marrero Facebook group
What did the other animatronics look like?
Thank you for doing this research. This was very interesting! I wish animatronic restaurants would make a comeback.
Same here!
😊❤
Dude I'm from Louisiana and I've never heard of this place before wow
2:50 the way they’re lined up reminds me of dreams I’ve had of the band when they’re really out of order. Pasqually being anywhere but the end is mind boggling and is probably illegal in some countries 😂😂
this happened to my local’s old location. turned into a place called cowboy pizza
i got a question,
do you have more information about this place?
All of the bots at cowboy pizza are just the normal bots wearing harmony cosmetics
3:15 that was the entrance you can tell
Please make a video on Sgt. Singer's Pizza Circus!!! I've got a token from there, and there is one article online about it, but those are the only physical evidence of its existence. There were multiple locations, with the first being in Texas.
Damn I wish I had time machine to go back to this place
2:06 the nihobi trio from jungle jims! Which had a retrofitted billy bob fatz and chuck was kept practically the same just that hes a drummer now, cool!
THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!! BEST EPISODE YET 🎉🎉🎊
Fnaf fan game devs: WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN!!!
It actually isn't a bad a idea, I think freddy fazbear's pizza (at least with the first games) was a small local pizza place, not a massive nationwide chain like chuck e Cheese or showbiz
This is very cool that we have media of a retrofitted pizza time theatre thats in lousiana, barely any media at all is known about any of the pizza time theatres in lousiana!
I have wondered what the rest of the band looks like if we got more photos about it, it might have the rest of CEC characters unchanged like on one article or a Pasqually retrofit in the other article.
(dunno if it does have The Warblettes as well, as both articles never mentions them)
Our assumption is that they just left the other characters completely intact. If they were too lazy to change the names they likely didn’t change cosmetics either. But would be cool for more photos or video to surface to know for sure!
I’m gonna have to ask my parents if they remember it have family all over right by marrero. Was not expecting this to be there! Lol
Man the 80s seemed like fun
Lost media is so interesting
didn't expect to see everybody else talking about knock-offs like me, that's kinda surprising! ;)
Wish I could go to a pizza restaurant with animatronics again.
🤭🩷🩵
Same
This was really interesting, i grew up close to marerro and never knew about this. Also my childhood chuck es was right next to a kmart its so true
ah yes, J.J.'s, totally not related to dimes and critters or chuck e cheese
It isn't related to dimes and critter, I don't know where you got that from, but it is related to chuck e cheese as shown in the video
@@roymackenzie-jy4lr it was a joke i had made since jj and dimes and critters mascot looked eerily similar
@@someguest426 oh, ok
Hey that’s my post lol 0:08
2:05 had me chuckle a little
2:56 😂
I wonder if someone could accquire a PTT tape with Chuck's name dubbed over.
I miss Showbiz/Chuck E. Cheese.
can you do Banjo Billys? it opened in Houston and my oldest cousin went there a ton
This is off-topic to the video, but have you thought about doing a Galaxy 5000 review video? I think it’d be cool to hear your opinion on it.
cool
That….is actually a great idea. I would love to massacre (er, review) that film. We watched it not terribly long ago and the bizarreness / cringe holds up pretty good. It does have some good and funny moments but there’s a lot that can be said about it.
someone should find the original san jose restaurant, refit it to look EXACTLY like the original, make/sculpt/mold the animatronics with the most accuracy possible, install accurate animatronic parts, and use all of the old showtapes. that would be my dream.
it was demolished
@@THAIIIGUY rebuild
@@AgentR-Arts well we do have the blueprints so we can rebuild
Wouldn't that be illegal
idk@@gracethefoxx 😅
Marrero is right outside of New Orleans, would it be worth asking in the New Orleans subreddit if anyone has any memories of the place?
JJs Pizza Parlor Looks Like Chuck Es Cousin Ngl
Yaya! :)
2:48 where is this
So im guessing the vid was abt chuck almost turning into a racoon
