I'm going to be making an announcement video on this soon, but I will not be taking anymore history video requests for now due to the large amount I already have. It's going to take me a long time to get through those, so I need to get through a good bulk of them first before I can accept anymore. I always felt that Showbiz would’ve still screwed over Aaron and eventually ditched the rockafire maybein the mid to late nineties in favor of their own characters

Thank you, and that's very true. I think people need to remember this is the same company that was once Showbiz Pizza Place, just under a different name, so for sure there would be a similar outcome.

They would definitely start 2.0 earlier. Theres way more rockafire characters and with them not having ties with creative engineering would be harder to fix and make new shows for.
Oh, new 3 stage's wouldn't have been made after that point, they would've just stuck with what they had. The only new stages that would have been made at this point were the Billy Bob 1 Stage, and any locations opened between 1989 and 1996 would have had recycled shows from closed locations.
@@ItzaRobanother thing: CEC got other companies (ex: Kinetix, Animation World) to build cyberamics from 1987-1997 because Fantasy Forest Manufacturing (the company that made the Cyberamics 1979-1984) closed. Therefore, Showbiz in this timeline likely would have gotten other companies (like Kinetix and Animation world) to build RAE animatronics. I’m not sure if they would be based of Cyberamics or CEI characters.
@@spunchbop47428 Cyberamics would have stopped production after 1988 since they weren't going to focus on those animatronics anymore. The only animatronics that would have been made after that point would have been the Billy Bob 1 Stage.

They probably would’ve gotten the CEC treatment though, Billy Bob 1 stage, tv screens on the side with Cartoon versions of the Rock a fire or Live action Rock a fire segments with Billy Bob or rock a fire mascots on The Tv.
I also see the company making more cartoony and less detailed latex masks for the characters and masks for the walkarounds in the 90s as the old ones could scare kids due to how realistic they look, this is the same as why in real life they resculpted the 3 stage latex mask and walkaround for Chuck to get rid of his old pointed snout, tiny eyes, and bulbous cheeks design associated with his old Scott Wilson voice in favor of the Mickey looking design associated with his Duncan Brannan voice
That's something I didn't think about. I was so focused on the other changes that something like that didn't occur to me. Yeah, you're very well right, they could have definitely done that.
I could see them retiring Fatz because of his obese size and his image(don’t ask of you don’t know what I mean) and making Billy Bob slimmer like they did with Chuck in 2012. I could definitely see them retiring Rolfe and Earl because the ventriloquist act itself is dated. I’m still surprised that Pasqually has lasted this long
I know what you mean about Fatz.
I dispute the idea that Rolfe and Earl are a dated concept; we do still see ventriloquist acts on TV talent shows and the like, several by young people even. If anything, I almost wanna say they were ahead of the curve, for using a cute puppet instead of a creepy-looking wooden dummy.
I think as long as Mario is popular, Pasqually hasn't got much to worry about.
I always thought admin wanted to replace Pasqually with Bella in all existing media but couldn't due to the demand for keeping our precious show stages. It's a theory, anyway

While the Rolfe and Earl show is proceeding, I could see them Going for a mention Of Chuck E rather than Mitzy in this.
I'd be worried that the brand would become the safe, boring marketable crap CEC is now.
The end of the video pretty much shows what I think it would've turned into, and it's pretty much what you described. This IS the same company, after all, just under a different name since they went with the RAE instead of CEC.

Nice video but I doubt they would change their outfits. Since concept unification CEC has not changed Helen, Jasper, Munch, or Pasquale outfits. The only outfit they change is Chuck E. So if Aaron had ever sold rock afire I bet all the characters besides billy bob would stay the same. Maybe a few small changes with a hat or something here and there but otherwise just the same.
Yes but that's talking about CEC CU which changed the characters once and then never again aside from Chuck. The thing is, those characters changed clothes when CU happened and it affected all of the stages and had the characters wearing different clothes than they were originally. In this timeline, the RAE 3 Stage would have never changed for 40 years and so of course it would undergo clothing changes at least once like it did with cyberamics (they may have been different, newer cyberamics but still were the same nonetheless).
I personally don’t think showbiz would ever get rid of their animatronics,
Then remember the current CEC Entertainment is actually the same company who was once Showbiz Pizza Place.
Now do a “What if Showbiz bought CEC and both CEC and Showbiz stayed (up to this day)”, it’d be cool!

@@robozaogameryt I really don't see this being a thing since that would have been a large cast of characters to have to market and manage. I try to take more realistic approaches to these videos and I don't see how that would realistically work.
What if Crusty the cat and Mr Munch co-existed?
I could see Crusty being a second guitarist in MMBB, potentially taking Billy Bob's animatronic. Maybe he could've even been the Fatz-like frontman and MMBB could have a different name.

3:47, I feel like this idea would be WAY cooler if one of the Cabaret Acts, let's say The King and another part of the Warblettes exoskeleton, was retrofitted into Rolfe and Earl. Just so it could feel like EVERYONE from Showbiz successfully moved into PTT.
Why is Rolfe being treated so dirty everyone hates him and putting him on a tv screen 😭 am I the only one who actually likes Rolfe and earl animatronic
I don't hate him, but he was definitely always treated like a side character, so I was trying to be realistic with my approach here and assumed Showbiz Pizza Place would not have tried to incorporate Rolfe & Earl since the only other characters they could've converted were the Cabaret acts which would've been a whole other thing to have to move to the main showroom and also reskin (plus adding on Earl somehow).

If the timeline was like this, I like to believe that Showbiz Pizza Time Inc. learned their lesson with the “corporate voiced” showtapes, and decided to let Aaron and the rest of the original voice cast continue to play their respective characters and would still voice them to this day (like they do in reality)
They didn't ask to buy them they just wanted them
I'd say by 1998 they would retire Rolfe and Earl which means converting 3 stages into two. By 2018 bella b bunny would be the newest member of the Rock Afire Explosion eventually climbing up to Rolfe's former spot
Who's saying Bella B would have ever existed though? I understand she didn't exist before in CEC and so you could technically add her here but it really isn't a surefire thing when the band that would've made it to modern day was quite different. I do think Rolfe & Earl would have been slowly phase out, maybe not that soon but eventually yes that could've happened.

Jarret Reddick would probably be the current voice of Billy Bob. Seeing the way Showbiz took Chuck's voice post Scott Wilson era, I see them doing the same with Billy Bob post Bob West era. I think this because Jaret's Chuck was really just Duncan's Chuck without the NY accent, and with the "cartoonish Spongebob-like voice tones" toned down. So, Jarrets Billy Bob would be similar.
3:26, except rather then a mention of Mitzy like heard in one of the show tapes as an excuse for why the RockAfire wasn’t available, it would be a mention of the Pizza Time Players while not saying any name of any character. Just mentions of it as an excuse for their absence.
Bonus: on a separated single stage on the left side of the wall there will be a modified foxy collen (harmony howlete in a few Texas locations)cyberamic who became rolf and Earl with a modified left hand to put on Earl

I thought about it but ultimately, knowing the company, they would not have bothered doing that seeing as Rolfe & Earl weren't incorporated in a ton of the performances to begin with.

Does Billy Bob actually play a bass guitar? I always wondered about that because beach Bear played the electric guitar and it would make sense that Billy Bob would be the bass guitar player.
Well, it's certainly not a banjo judging by how it sounds in the showtapes, and I've heard that term being thrown around so it makes sense.
@ItzaRob Bass guitars also have only 4 strings and as you see Billy bobs guitar has 4 strings. Beach bears guitar has 6 I believe which is how many strings are on a standard guitar.
Imagine if they kept the Latex mask Cec animatronics and kept the Rock fire explosion animatronics too
maybe aaron could've retrofitted the spare rock afires into hard luck bear or wolf pack 5 shows (maybe hybrids)
This might of not happened bc there is the 2nd gen of Mitzi and dook and they might all get a 2nd gen
2nd gen was put on hold a bit before the merger because money was tight, and after the merger tensions started to rise with creative engineering and corporate Showbiz.

You should reaserch gadgets restaurant and zaps bar and grill, even the early PTT was somewhat for adults, many of the showtapes had references of the 50s-70s such as the bandstand, even some mentions of the 1920s for the grandparents

Showbiz was the actual restaurant, the Rock-store explosion was a show created by Creative Engineering and was exclusively licensed out to Showbiz Pizza for several years before tension started to rise and the agreement changed so other restaurants could have the show, and then ofc they eventually retrofitted their characters into Chuck E. Cheese characters.

They do own CEC, they bought them back in 1984 and merged with them and decided to use the characters instead of the Rock-afire Explosion and rebrand from Showbiz Pizza Place to Chuck E. Cheese.
Maybe they would use some of the Chucky character

It wouldn't have existed if the rights to the Rock-afire Explosion were taken from Creative Engineering. They may have tried to work with the company that created Mijins to create their own bots but this video didn't try to focus on that aspect.

I feel like something similar would have existed in the showbiz restaurants. they could have only had 1 band in every single location for so long. At least Chuck e cheese has changed over the years, especially in the early days

They'd likely be replaced as they would still be with Creative Engineering.
What if Rockafire explosion characters continue to exist at Chuck E Cheese
The two brands wouldn't coexist, the cast of characters would be too large to do something like that with and be able to market both properly.

@@hayleywaalen2612 I really don't think that's how they'd do that, so I'd rather not do that. Any of these ideas where the characters coexist with each other are usually unrealistic in every way and would just simply not work.

Showbiz Pizza Place bought Chuck E. Cheese in 1984 when they merged. Showbiz Pizza Place phased out Showbiz Pizza Place in favor of the Chuck E. Cheese characters because they couldn't secure the rights to the Rock-afire Explosion. Aaron Fechter and Creative Engineering owns the rights to the characters, and without owning them, they couldn't keep using them if the two split up (Creative Engineering made the bots and the showtapes, Showbiz Pizza Place allowed the band to perform in their restaurants and use their characters but conflict arose and they split up).

Not sure if you know this but the Guest Star animatronic (which was the same bit for every guest star) became Helen. They didn’t each have their own mechs.
