Is there an animatronic school?
@u hideous ugly thing do you have a link?
Fastpass Facts You forgot to mention the Alton Towers “BookWorm” Animatronic. That ones been rescued, and is being restored.
"These animatronics were built by an imagineer" Well that explains the movement. Disney imagineers are awesome
Yup they are awsone
Disney simply has the most fluid animatronics.
I mean, look at splash mountain!
It has very old animatronics and yet, they're smoother than anything the competition has to offer.
@@simpleinverso8628 Agreed. I love how fluid Ariel is.
Whats an imagineer. Just asking.

I swear I nearly cry whenever these poor, abandoned animatronics get a happy new life with hard-working, dedicated people willing to put in the effort to fix them.
bro theyre animatronics they ain’t sentient 💀
@@malware8991 right 💀
@@dajuicegod1788 honestly bruhh
@@malware8991
I KNOW but it’s like,,, it’s like how a roomba is adorable and you wanna pet it and love it even though it isn’t alive. Humans pack bond with anything
@@malware8991 It is always human beings that assign value to objects and even living creatures. That photo of your dead grandma? Technically worthless. That T-Shirt signed by that person you admire? Worth hardly anything in all likelihood. How about when you were little and treasured that Tamagotchi or Furby? Plenty of people love their cars and feel pain, when they sell them or they get damaged.
We are a weird species that assigns sentimental value and even empathizes with all sorts of objects. It's no reason to look down on anyone, just because they express one of the most common human behaviours.
Also, it may keep the animatronics from murdering us all in our sleep. Some of this was nightmare fuel to me. 😅
Thr last story made me tear up, the fact that she is trying to buy the rights to the characters is phenomenal! I'm so glad people like that, with burning passion and love for something, exist
Unfortunately her boyfriend is a pedophile and she defended him. She also sent nude photos of herself to a child once.
Seeing these robots being restored and given new life makes me wanna cry with joy. I am so proud of these kind folks. They keep part of my childhood alive!
And then they got stuffzd inside the suit .
@Garbage Guy remember that fnaf 1 was inspired of a real case.
They do mine too!
I know also the coolest part is that the fnaf animatronics from the game used to actually be real it was crazy but I think they got burned down in a building caught up on fire cause people said there was loud screaming noises like robotic
@Garbage Guy I'm part of both these fandoms😔
I knew that jared was dedicated by the fact that he owns 4 of the same animatronic each with it's own personality that he's given them with his own custom showtapes made for the once obsolete, defunct animatronics, but i didnt know he was THAT dedicated, to the point of learning how to sew, program and sing purely just so he could see his beloved childhood animatronic perform again. That's incredible
Arm it aren't are you just I love this video and it did if you're the owner of the king that and made it all three three animatronics out of the year awesome I hope you see this in response
Four animatronics... Reminds me of FNaF 1.
(Golden Freddy dooesn't really do anything, that animatronic is just a bonus easter egg.)
It's just so wholesome too. Everything he did just so his beloved and favorite animatronic could perform again
Being a casual fnaf lore enjoyer, and learning about the actual history of the Chuck.E Cheese, makes me realize how much it resembles the core of fnaf main characters Henry Emily and William Afton, and it’s makes it so much more fascinating. Maybe in a world we’re this business didn’t get bad, and instead the world loved the animatronics, who can say fnaf’s weird universe can’t exist tbh?
Loved the video, these people are amazing!!
Ahhh I remember a (recent) MatPat video talking about that
When he said they went bankrupt in 1983 I immediately thought it was because of the bite of 83 😂😂😂
Why can't people just enjoy animatronics for what they are, not because of fnaf
@otamatonegaming Animatronics received a massive spotlight because of FNAF. Before it was released, I didn‘t even know what an animatronic was and the same could be said for many others. You should be grateful.
There are some people that genuinely love the franchise and have went out of their way to build those animatronics as well.
@dynaspir14925 SAME BRO 😂😂😂
I don’t find The King scary but everyone else’s designs creep me out haha. Really cool that these people save these relics from the past tho!
Incredibly impressed with Jared and his Kings. I absolutely love the idea of humans and animatronics in a band together.
IKR!!!! THEY DONT EVEN LOOK SCARY ANYMOREEEEE. THE KINGS HE FIXED ARE WELL FIXED
Yes he’s the best his kings are so amazing and I just wanna hug one of them so bad!!!

There is a King animatronic at Jungle Jim’s in Ohio that needs to be rescued and restored. Somebody pass along the message! It barely moves now.
Edit: it appears the King is in working order according to another poster, what great news!
yes!! just went recently and he isn’t doing too hot, poor guy :((
@@gwynfromRARE I haven’t been in a few months but from what I recall it’s like only his eyelids move and make the loudest mechanical sound which takes away from the magic!!
@@faithruntz2969 yup, he's still in pretty much the same shape. I think they tried to get his hand to move again but it just jitters and I'm worried it puts too much strain on him.
We gotta tell Jared
That's actually just because of the lack of air pressure. It's not in bad condition, just needs the flow controls adjusted. And they're also not planning on selling it.
Imagine just driving to work one day and seeing a king animatronic just chilling next to the driver lmfao
My step grandfather owns a lot of animal masks and sets them up like that in his car when he drives. He’s gotten a LOT of stares.
What I love how about these 3 people/channels is they treat the animatronics like fellow living beings. They take care of them, keep them in safe conditions, and fix their injuries (repair/replace what's necessary), despite how costly it can be
I happen to know Andrea (CavitySam) very well. In addition to be an animatronics collector, she's also a costume/fursuit maker as well as an artist. Her work is absolutely amazing! I do wish her the best of luck on obtaining the rights to Circus Playhouse.
I'm at one of my best friends there when I was like 4 and now I'm 12 so she really doesn't like me that much but she still likes to play toys with me and stuff we even joke around with each other
@@amyconnelly7895 I'm not sure what that has to do with animatronics
@@amyconnelly7895what??
This is really inspiring. Jared did not know how to sew, program, or sing. But he taught himself and has an awesome animatronic show. And the animatronics look better than new. I couldn’t even sew a mask when covid started 🤣.
The other restorations look great, but...the characters look creepy. I’m sorry 😖.
Sewing is hard. I am making a cosplay and I hand sewed one of the parts.
To be fair, the latter story is of someone who JUST got the resources to do a lot of the work done. So we didn’t get to see a fully restored animatronic from the dynamic duo here. Just old clips from back in the day and a WIP version of them. I’m sure once they’re fully restored, they will look much better.
I'm trying to learn how to sew
And it's fun to make stuff, also
It's very hard for me to make
A face cover especially with
A filter pocket 😁
He'd be a great Disney Imagineer.
i've always found the rock afire explosion animatronics a bit creepy with the way they look and move [especially mitzi, she looks so weird to me] but they're kinda growing on me a bit, i still find the chuckie cheese animatronics to be very ugly but i love the guy that restored so many of the elvis lions, i love how passionate he is about it. as for circus playhouse and tex critter's jamboree i actually find those to be very cute with the character designs and i love how they move and how they aren't jittery like showbiz and chuckie cheese
I feel really lucky to still be able to enjoy an original Rock-A-Fire Explosion show (although it’s getting pretty run down now) within 20 minutes of me! Feels like such an awesome piece of history to have a Billy Bob’s to be able to still enjoy.
Now I know what inspired fnaf, I mean all of this pretty much is how fnaf was made. These old animatronics is basically an inspiration to the withered animatronics, the new made animatronics are like a reference to all the more advance animatronics in fnaf like the toys or funtimes. And the fact that these locations get abandoned or left to rot is really sad, it’s like a inspiration to all the fnaf games that have animatronics being abandoned, burned, or just scrapped. I feel bad for these animatronics and the fnaf game kinds
Imagine walking outside to see your neighbor taking apart 6 feet animatronics or just waking up to hear loud noises of them💀
Imagine 9ft 😂
I wold love to see it going near me but ill push it away and run me: pushes and runs*
Don't have any Halloween decorations? No problem, just get an old animatronic and leave it in your yard
Good idea.
For how much these tend to go for you may as well get a Pneumatic Halloween prop lol
@@carvahaunter122 just make some deal with someone to make it so they give you ti for less or for free or just go out to abandoned animatronic places and steal an animatronic. Either way will work.
Lol thats cool
Man,that's a good idea
Jared and his love for the King are so sweet, but god Four gave me immediate FNAF2 flashbacks
Ever since I got into FNAF, I’ve been recommended these kind of videos. They’re really cool! These people are magical, I can’t even imagine how much skill this must take, let alone making parts from scratch!
Genuine, vintage, 1970s human, here! I was absolutely besotted with "The King" animatronic, as a little girl! I already loved Elvis's music, and I loved lions and cats, so I enjoyed that character's performances, the most.
A couple of odd facts: My local CEC never changed into a Showbiz Pizza - and they never transitioned the King into the MJ inspired character. The establishment remained a CEC, well into the 1990s. I can recall being invited to a neighbor's child's birthday party (I had made the cake), no later than 1994. The King was still there, in the same place, in his original garb, doing the same songs. It was nostalgic, to see him again. In case anyone is wondering about that location, it was about 30 miles NW of Detroit City, near Waterford, MI.
Yeah from my memories this never happened as well. The king at mine always stayed as an Elvis and never turned into show Biz pizza. This was in Ohio but cannot remember if it was boardman or niles. I remember seeing a king still in use till at least 1985.
The Showbiz in Southgate MI changed to CEC. When I was a kid I always liked Showbiz better because of the animatronic band. They rarely had them perform once it became CEC. There was a Caesarland right down the street too.

It's a pretty cool hobby for sure! Always feels good when there's a lot of likeminded people who are into the same stuff

I was born in '74. The Chuck E. Cheese characters were a huge part of my childhood. (I was so obsessed with "Dragon's Lair" and "Space Ace", that my dad bought me an actual Space Ace arcade machine in 1986, yes I still have it). Seeing these things be saved almost makes me misty-eyed.
Everybody grab your flashlight, the control shocker, animatronic mask, vent snare, audio lure, & use your doors to defend yourself from the Animatronics at night or else...
Sound like a good strategy
I've always had an interesting relationship with animatronics. I'm simultaneously fascinated and terrified by them 😂 I've always loved learning about Jim Henson's creature shop and was totally captivated by The Dark Crystal as a small child, but I always had the uncanny valley feeling toward the Chuck E. Cheese characters and their kin. It's really interesting to see what people have done with these guys!

I saw an animatronic at Jungle Jims that looked exactly like the King named Elvis. I wonder if he was taken from an old Chucky Cheese.
Hooray for the saviors who saved these animatronics!
animatronics scare me at every stage, new, the bare-bones, the skeleton, old, dirty, corrupted, they all freak me out

i really enjoy learning about animatronics and their restorations. a cool idea for a horror game would be where you investigate an old place and encounter run down animatronics that help you, and since they were made to entertain people the're very friendly.
Can we bring back animatronic bands? I'm sure if they were done right they'd gain popularity again. These people are so cool
I have been doing a lot of research into this genre as I was always kind of scared of these things but now that I know much more about the great people that want to bring these things back to life, I can't help but be amazed.
