I am from Norway so NFL is not big here, In 2011 i decided to root for the Eagles becuse I love Eagles so wanted to root for a team whit Eagles in it. I saw some games but its hard considering the time diffrence also I saw all the superbowls live from SF - Ravens and beyond. in 2017 I decided to see all the games live for the hole season. I fell in love whit the game and 2017 was an amazing year i also took it as a sign that i was ment to root for the Birds. FLy Eagles Fly!!

Dude that's so cool! I love Norway! I have a story about how returning from Norway had me jet lagged, but I stayed up just barely to watch the Eagles beat the Panthers that season! So cool. It's a memory I'll always have! Let's help get more Eagles fans in Norway!

Every time I look back at that run, it blows me away the absolute tear Foles went on in the NFC Championship game and Super Bowl. Dude was completely forgotten across the league, came back to Philly and played unbelievable football, dueling Tom Brady on the biggest stage, to get us a ring. I love that man

Most people understandably give Carson Wentz a lot of shit, but no true Eagles fan can deny that we only have that ring because of Wentz’s mvp season. Without Wentz’s regular season performance we would still be ringless in the super bowl era.

That year will forever be the greatest year not only in Philadelphia but in football history! No other team has done that much after all those injuries, doubts and gone up against a legendary quarterback to make a dream for 1 city to come true! I still get chills thinking about that parade day! That was the first time this city came together as one and celebrated without any problems! Thank you Doug Pedersen, Nick Foles and the rest of the 2017 Philadelphia eagles!

Rewatching this it breaks my heart to see what happened to Wentz. He would have been MVP and might have has 5-10 more great seasons but one injury derailed his career probably for good. Seeing everyone give up on us. Seeing most of Philadelphia turn their backs on Wentz so quickly and run him out of town like he didn't bring us 11 of our 13 wins carrying the team on his shoulders. Like he didn't break several league records. Breaks my heart. I'll always love this team, I'll always love Foles, and Doug, and Wentz, I'll always love that superbowl run, but it just goes to show that no good effort comes without some form of heartbreak. Fly Eagles Fly, may my city triumph more and again, 6-0 as of October 19, 2022, looking for many more victories go come. FLY EAGLES FLY!

When the Foles billboard came to life directly outside the Linc...and Wentz went down for the season....much of the East Coast of America was dejected, despondent and "here we go again" attitude. Foles and Dougie P were not about to let this season go down the toilet. The combination of the best O-line the league has seen in 10 years along with running backs who punished would-be tacklers and a great defense finally won it all for Philly. Dougie kept it all together, the players adored him, and went on a playoff tear that was stunning. I thank God I lived long enough to see it all happen.
Doug was the true MVP of that super bowl
Saint Nick still my MVP for his performance, but Doug got it all right that season. So many clutch 4th down calls and conversions. Both Doug and Foles lead with no fear, mad respect.
He really was. The players adored him.

Dad & I have been fans for so long - at least since 2002. That playoff stretch you just can’t get over & as entertaining as that Superbowl was from start to finish; probably a Top 10 Super Bowl at worst; Amazing game.
Nick Foles played the best 2 games in playoff history. He was spectacular. His highs are all time great elite. He could never stay healthy. Those damn collar bones.

I'm from colombia, i started to watch NFL in 2017 i dont even know why XD the thing is i went to support eagles cause when i was 10 years old my aunt had a shirt of the eagles and since that i fell in love with the eagle and colors of the shirt. it was the perfect time to start to watch NFL.

meh both sides were pretty bad. Reportedly howie roseman actually chewed him out after that cheap shot by Clowney in the wild card game as he was throwing up aggressively. They both made each other upset and it just wasn't a great fit after that. He probably felt really betrayed.

His facial expression here is much before Howie Roseman did what you say "he did" so it doesn't take away the fact that we gave in to all of Carson's demands and gave him his huge contract. To this day I feel bad for Carson Wentz he was having a Tom Brady like year and was injured and has never been the same. I wanted Philly to keep Foles he worked well in the Eagles system.
