15 Must Have Items You Need In Your Truck At ALL TIMES

If you drive a reefer or dry van, you need to have these items in your truck.
These are just some of the items we tell our drivers to have in their trucks at all times. We didn't include any tools because you can never carry enough tools with you, and hopefully you never have to use them on the road.

Is the expectation that drivers will supply all these themselves? Just curious.

It's not an expectation or requirement. We just think that these items are extremely useful when it comes to OTR driving. Some of our trucks have all of them, some have a few of them and some have a couple. It all depends on the driver i guess and if they want to make their own lives easier. When i was a company driver (at a different company), i bought those items by myself. When i stopped working for them and got my own rig, i just kept everything so i can continue using it.
