My wifes one is 6.0 ltrs and mine is 6.2 LSA with 2650 Harrop blower. If you have dropbox I can send you a photo. I am very proud of these cars and their origins in Holden Australia and the mix of Australian and US engineering really got this car right.

I have a 335i with just under 1000 hp I’ve had since 2009 and I just got the Chevy SS. The SS is such a sick car. I got a black one swapped a supercharger and now it’s smoking everything on the freeway and at stop lights. Stay safe y’all. I highly recommend the SS. It looks like a Mercedes and the inside does too

Me too. I have a 2013 impala ltz, and it’s solid for what it is. With a meaner looking body style and bringing back the SS Impalas; theyd fare well. GM fucks up everything they do eventually though. Look at them with Pontiac and now with Chevrolet. I’ve given up on them for everything but trucks, I don’t expect anything in the future from them
You don’t need to put the shifter in manual to let the car shift for itself. Keep it in auto and still use the paddles to downshift and hit the gas. The car will automatically shift by itself when it get close to redlining
@@KCars if you’re a good driver probably not, but it’ll keep you from having to use your shifter all the time and just be able to have both hands on the wheel from the start. It just makes it easier

The ss is such a nice car, had one on my gti’s ass merging onto the freeway and thought it was a Malibu at first 😂 we lined it up a couple of times after and they were good runs. Nonetheless it’s my dream dad car.

Good video, the ScatPack having 50hp more should more than cover the 90kgs, (200lbs) weight difference, and theoretically should have left the VF Commodore, (Chev SS) behind, however in the real world there is a lot more to factor in, how that power is developed, delivered and put down, and dont forget the Driver, so gear ratio's, final drive setup, air intake, fuel delivery systems, etc and the list goes on all equates into why the SS had the slight edge.

I have a soft spot for the SS since I have a G8 which got the same treatment from GM. It’s sad that GM has no desire to market their vehicles that aren’t Camaros or Trucks and let these gems die after 2-3 years. Chargers have been flying out of the showrooms since they made em a sedan so there’s clearly a market for fast sedans they just had no interest in trying to compete
Very true. I upgraded to 275 Michelin’s all around and it made a huge difference with traction. I thought about lowering it but it already scrapes going over speed bumps sometimes since the headers stick out a little lower than stock but I agree I think it would look really good
My SS almost exactly the same as this one. Headers, cam, dino tune. only real difference is, I just did a muffler delete. Sounds great still. My favorite thing is starting around people. Almost all turn around and say the same thing. WTF. Lol
The SS have the Corvette engine in it but it has the last generation Corvette engine in it if it had the new generation Corvette in it that SS will be a different story
