WFPB Tofu Tikka Masala
(Serves 2 to 3)
1 (14-ounce) firm or extra firm smoked tofu
2 cubes crushed garlic (1 tablespoon fresh garlic, chopped)
1 cube ginger (1 teaspoon ginger, grated)
8 ounces soy yogurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon funegreek leaves (amzn.to/4aufNyo)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon+ 1 teaspoon miso
1 (14-ounce) can chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup water for cooking
1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
Cook for 15 minutes☺️

I'm like watching this over again and we get it! YOU LIKE CILANTRO! Geez. Sometimes I make this 2x a week, which is A LOT for someone that doesn't like to make things over and over...although I'm one of those who is prone to binging on a recipe for 2 months straight and then hating it and leaving it forever. Anyhow, shouldn't happen here😉 It's one of my favorites, so I hope it helps some of you looking to eat healthier and to include whole food plant-based lifestyle, which I think is the gold standard of eating, into your everyday. This looks amazing, never made anything quite like this before. It's challenging to find plain plant based yogurt in my area, I didn't quite catch what to do with cashews instead of yogurt? Thanks
Oh ok ok, if you look up a recipe for cashew cream you can substitute for that instead of yogurt (I'm wondering if you have a health food store near you. Sometimes you'll have a better chance of finding it there....and then after you find a carton, it's really easy to just take a couple spoonfuls of yogurt, mix it into unsweetened soy milk and make your own yogurt from then on...ok is this sounding crazy and overbearing?😂)
Methi leaves won't survive boiling / cooking.
I'd add them with the coriander / cilantro at the end.
Otherwise, useful for a quick week night meal.
I'd say it imparts the flavor needed😊

Yes, a separate blog post is ideal (as then we can use a recipe scraper (like Copy Me That, ChefTap or Paprika) to save it (and the photo), but I'm not asking for that. Just a reasonable compromise.
Well, I think Craig, it might be worth contacting the creators you watch directly to maybe see if they could add that on as a patreon option. -- Because upon reading your comment, it does elicit a certain response. Creators aren't unknowledgeable people. If there was the time and resources/funding to set up lighting and sound and pay the music subscription and film and edit and pay for the Adobe subscription and do the thumbnails and then also write someone a short cookbook, perhaps we would. But again, we don't get paid for this. Many of us absolutely have full time jobs outside of this. So maybe show a little appreciation first. But yes it comes off as entitled. I think for now, for this channel anyways instruction on the videos will do.
You cant so not so what so ever saying the best tikka masala. Your not indian. Create (Veganizing) your own cultur recipes. You will never by able to do the best when it's not your's. Be mindful and have respect.
