Just a tip on the guns… you have to press and hold the button on the back of the gun in order to unlock it and allow it to swing freely. If you don’t, you’ll have a limited range of motion and the gun will feel stiff. Also, there are hidden shields in each of the first 3 scenes. Hitting those will give you more points. As far as the drop vs the slide ending, they are not tied to either the owl or dragon. You could get any of the 3 possible ride track endings with either character.
This is my 1 ride review. I rode it yesterday morning. The ride had a delayed opening, and I stood in line about 2 hours before it opened. Once opened I waited maybe 45ish minutes. I found the crowds and long wait kinda exciting, so I didn’t mind. I tried going into the ride with low expectations. I personally found the ride to be more thrilling than I originally expected. Loved the backwards section!. The ride gave me hints of Disney/Universal. And overall for Lagoon standards the theming was incredible. I got the owl side with what I believe is the Slide/Tilt drop ending. I thought the ride was really cool and fun. What i didn’t love as much is to me the ride was a bit shorter than I had expected/ heard. Maybe my expectations in that regard were too high, but it wasn’t extremely short either. The other thing is it made the rest of the rides in the park feel basic or bland (even though most are much more thrilling). But that might just take a little getting used to. Cannibal was a walk on though which was pretty nice! Overall I really enjoyed the ride and can’t wait to go next weekend and ride more times. I love the drop tracks I’ve experienced at other parks, and can’t wait to experience Primordials. It’s exciting to have this type of ride finally close to home!
@@thexpproject for sure! Generally from experience it makes most things seem better. One minor thing I forgot to mention that I really liked, was how in the gift shop they have the Daily/ All-time high scores of the riders posted. Adds an extra touch to the competitive side of the ride!
The queue is not finished yet. There's going to be a massive waterfall next to the station building. If you look you can see fossils carved into the mountain.
Yeah I noticed that they have what looks like the water filter boxes for water. I think that will look really nice! I would just love to see maybe some pictures or something hung on the flat blank walls.
After riding multiple times and talking to others that have rode, I have concluded that there is 6 possible endings, maybe more but I have only heard that there is 6. You have a traditional drop track, similar to the one on Hagrid’s at Universal Orlando, there is also a 45° “track slide”, which can be experienced either forwards or backwards. And all 3 physical track endings can have either the dragon or the owl to go with it.
There’s actually 4 different battle scene endings for each character, the dragon or owl. Plus the 3 possible ride endings, the drop, slide forward, or slide backwards.
@@missingmakelle I believe there's actually 4 different physical ride endings: slide forwards, slide backwards, drop facing one way, and drop facing the other way.
Most people are saying it has either 2 or 4 endings. I believe it is 8. Julie Freed, the director of special events at Lagoon who cut the ribbon for the new ride, told Deseret News “We wanted a ride where you can come back and see something different every time,” said Freed. “So, you’ve got eight different possible endings that feature either the dragon or the owl.”
something you didn't mention, there's also a tilt track on the ride, and both sides can have the owl or dragon endings, however, on the tilt track, which one you get, from what I've heard, will affect which way you fall, so if you get one you'll tilt forwards, while if you get the other you'll tilt backwards
The animations that play on the screens in either of the ending show rooms are actually not dependent on the ending. I rode twice yesterday and we saved the owl Astradir both times but the first time we got the drop tower and the second time we got the slide track and it went backwards.
Primordials top speed is 40 mph Also I’m not fully sure, but I heard from a few different workers and other sources that there are 4 endings, the owl drop track or tilt track, then the dragon drop track or tilt track. I’m still not fully sure though because I’ve also heard there’s 8 endings. But either way it’s a fun ride!
There are 8 eight endings there is owl/ dragon for the drop track. Then there is owl/dragon forward slide track and the backwards slide track and for the backwards slide there are two different animations you can get.
technically there's four actually, because you not only have the dragon and the owl, but you also have a drop track and a tilt track, and each one can be on each track

Wow! Great tips!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you for putting this video out, and your commentary. I am looking forward to riding it next weekend.
For sure! Let us know what you think of it!!

Very good assessment! I agree with anything in life it’s good to not set expectations too high because then we don’t get let down. 🙂

It's actually 6 endings. What would be the other 2? There are 3 with the owl (vertical drop, forward slide, backward slide) and 3 with the dragon

@@thexpproject honestly, if Lagoon offered backstage stuff, I'd love to see it for this ride, it would be easily one of the most interesting things

Not tilt track slide track first of it's kind

@@anonymouscoasterenthusiast the way lagoon does it is unique but Universal’s Gringots ride in one of its Harry potter land has a tilt track

I thought it felt different the second time I did the drop lol
Good info thank you!!!
Do you think they could maybe add more to the ride during off session inside?
I think it’s possible but no likely. They will probably move on to the next ride in my opinion.
I think it’s possible that lagoon will start to build their next coaster in 2026 or 2027 and have it open by 2030
@@Lagooncoastersfan I think your right but it bums me out to think we won’t see anything new until then hahah
I could see some animatronics eventually inside the ride fingers crossed!
Do you really think 2026 the next big thing?

I was wondering if there were 2 endings

i totally think this ride is def Disney/universal level and is better than some of Disney or uni rides.
Yeah for a park like lagoon this is a big step!
I fully agree
Que isnt finished
Yeah I noticed that it looks like there will be some kind of waterfall feature also.
Do you know the height requirements?
50 inches was what I read
@@thexpproject36 inches, same as bombora
Under 36” may not ride. Guests between 36-48” must have a supervising companion.
44 miles an hour
Nice!!
Not for me ...
Yeah this is a very “different” type of ride and will definitely not be for everyone.
Very disappointing they went with such boring and bland shooting dark ride scenes
The more I’m seeing comments this type of ride is going to be either one you love or hate. where as a ride like cannibal is one everyone will love.
@@thexpproject I mean, the coaster portion is 24 seconds long. The shooting just looks... blah. Shooting rides are so bad
@@LordRayken I get you. Cannibal has definitely set a huge bar for this park in my opinion 🙂
@@thexpproject Yeah, and it didn't help that they have super old original dark rides like Terroride that are way better than the shooting screens.
@@LordRayken I always like more practical effects than screens. Last time I was at universal studios almost ever ride is screens lol
