    Love the amount of commentary you give and watching the small, incremental improvements. Looking forward to getting this version.

    Smoother acceleration/deceleration, slowing for speed bumps, better lane change timing, better reaction time to posted speed limits. I can't wait to see 11.3.2 a week in after it's calibrated. Just imagine what this looks like by March '24. Thanks for posting!

    That was quite acceptable for a low traffic drive! Not robo-taxi, but you can start to envision it…

      I think if you were in a taxi and didn’t know the car was driving itself you probably wouldn’t notice it, which is incredible if you think about it.

      And the NAYSAYERS still keep harping about it not being FULL FSD as if that is easy.....Even other Self Driving systems are worse and puts heavy limitations on the drive but they still think it is better just because one doesn't have to put their hands on the wheel with the nag implemented. I wonder how many times those systems have to have interventions? We all know that those drives are geofenced and can't be used on the local streets while Tesla's FSD can be used practically Anywhere.

    Thanks for explaining your thought process with all of these and being nitpicky with how the car behaves. I can tell you're a safe driver and want to help this software be as safe as possible.

    9:12 I really don’t think personal preferences should be reported like that.

    • @1flash3571
      @1flash3571 Год назад

      True. It doesn't hurt though. Lots of people might have that preference and the FSD software can learn to behave more like human.

    Waiting too late to decelerate forcing full Regen and friction brake usage should be an easy fix but has been in every FSD build.
    1:46 friction brakes being used to slow for right turn.
    2:38 waiting to long to decelerate for left turn.
    5:23 using friction brakes for left turn then accelerating then using friction brakes. I agree with your assessment on it not entering the turn lanes smoothly.
    7:36 couldn't tell when that yellow light started but the car appeared to be going uphill in a 45mph zone so the yellow light should have been long enough to not needed heavy friction brakes to stop in time like it did.
    8:54 heavy friction brakes used for upcoming left turn at a red light.
    10:57 stopped cars ahead easily visible the car used heavy friction brakes too late
    FSD is not processing the far out pixels soon enough and/or and/or fsd logic issues / AP3 camera limitations.
    Thanks for the video.

    Why would you need a turn signal into a merge? Where else do drivers think you’re going? Lol

    • @raddaks2039

      Because it's the law? Lol

    • @Ccvikings2009
      @Ccvikings2009 Год назад

      @@raddaks2039 it is not the law. You are not making a turn. Your turn signal doesn’t provide anything additional to the situation. Everyone in the road knows where the car is going.

    • @1flash3571
      @1flash3571 Год назад +3

      @@Ccvikings2009 You are merging with the main lane. It tells other cars behind you that you are planning to come to their lane if there are cars behind you.....Just common sense. Some drivers don't pay attention and try to speed up and won't let you in. That happens more than you think. There are too many arse holes on the road or drivers that don't pay attention to the road.....

      Homeboy thinks a painted marking on *your* lane makes it super clear and unambiguous to people in *other* lanes … drrrrr - can’t make this stuff up… probably how he was raised 😅

    6:40 appreciate 'nitpicking', that too is necessary, but a very good turn and most humans cut much more most of the time.

  • @BrianBull

    4:33 very odd on the display it didn't pick up the yellow lane for quite a while. I am not sure i have ever seen it had a delay or inaccurate display that's been that big or for that long.

  • @toddsmith4280
    @toddsmith4280 Год назад +2

    I don’t think a turn signal for the merge is warranted since you have no choice but to go into the only remaining lane.

    • @raddaks2039

      It's kind of the law.

    • @1flash3571
      @1flash3571 Год назад

      Turn signal is for other drivers if there are cars behind you. It just tells them that you are planning to merge even though it is forced to do so.

  • @Mrbfgray
    @Mrbfgray Год назад

    4:35 case could be made that was a good *general* policy to use center 'transitional' lane if clear to the front, if any doubt about possible cars sailing up from behind right...at least from a human perspective where visibility forward far better than right-rear, from my armchair. Seemed to be limited range of view both directions?

    • @1flash3571
      @1flash3571 Год назад

      yeah, for sure. I do that all the time so that I don't have to make a sharp turn. Gradual turn with no cars in that lane helps the car to last longer due to less stress on the car mainframe, and mechanical parts.

    • @1flash3571
      @1flash3571 Год назад

      as long as there are drivers steering it manually, there will be speed bumps. It will take about 20 years at minimum to replace the manually driven cars to be replaced after Self Driving cars are implemented. That isn't soon......

    I completely disagree with your "nitpicking" for entering the turn lane. You seem to want the car to turn more sharply into the lane (to what, avoid touching the white line?). This impacts the comfort level of the driver (and especially passengers) the more you laterally accelerate. As long as the turn signal is on (which it is) prior to entering the lane to signal to the driver behind you your intention...it looks good.

  • @mallamal5578
    @mallamal5578 Год назад +1

    You seem to be commentating on how the car is driving against how you drive. Everyone drives slightly differently and a generalised solution has to be found which may or may not meet with how you drive. Other you tubers are much more positive than you.

  • @Nas_Atlas
    @Nas_Atlas Год назад +1

    It drifts over the solid white line when getting into the left turn lane which is of course unlawful. Maybe once FSD reduces the vehicle accident rate to zero there will be more money for infrastructure. Your roads are garbage.
