Wow just comparing ticket prices, i saw them in NZ in 1973 for $4.90NZ! A friend still has his ticket framed with rock memorabilia in his club/bar. Wonderful show it was.
@@ronsanchez6992 You saw them in 64 in the USA.. thats amazing, i heard Mick say recently they played Texas first in 64, that it was his 1st rodeo, 60yrs ago, respect to you and The Stones for that!
The Stones can surely put on a fabulous performance, Mick is the best frontman ever 🎉🎉. No one can match his energy 🎉🎉. Keith and Ronnie are killing it. Charlie is looking down and smiling on them.
Wow!! Its the best version ive seen on this tour, it truly made me tear up. She stalked that stage like a panther, then she roared like a lion! Magnificent, back to back with Jagger, the whole interplay.. Wow. Thankyou for this.
Don’t want to hear anybody talking sh*t, Let’s see you do it or anything close to it at 80 something years old! Keep on Rockin’ Boys!!!! Absolute LEGEND
It is awesome to be alive and see the Stones going strong! Loved this band since a friend played satisfaction on his acoustic in the 60s. My favourite R&R band of all time. Would love to get my old bones to Vegas to catch them and my favourite new R&R band of the second millennium, The Pretty Reckless. They both rock me! Work schedule problem.
Mick is moving around and singing pretty great considering his age. Astounding actually. Rock on Stones. This song represents so strongly the blues roots of rock and roll.
About 20 yrs ago I saw The Rolling Stones at an imax theater. It was so weird bc it was like having the best seats at their concert. The sound system was amazing. It was air conditioned too. lol. Of course the real concert is the best but this was cool too
81 on July 26. I’ve been a fan since I was six (1967) and my older siblings played their records. Seen them six times. They’ve always been there. Cheers from Montreal
Amazing...I first saw them in 1965 when I was 14. Brian Jones was part of the group then. I'm now 73. Never thought I'd still be seeing Mick do his thing so many years down the track. They all still have it.
Leaving that damn stick hit out on the snare makes all the difference!,always appreciated Charlie’s unique way of playing a simple 4/4 type beat man, what a great drummer he was
Greatest Stones song of all time. But the energy and most importantly the danger is gone. Just going through the motions without the urgency of impending doom.
I saw them when I was a teen and he worked harder on stage than I had ever seen anybody... He ran up and down the stage for ages... It is just a shout away...
The Rolling Stones - The oldest rock n roll n blues band to be and to be still performing live across the world in 2024. " The World's Greatest Rock n Roll Band ! " Like.No.Other.
Wonderful how the retirement homes have these activities available to the residents, music and singing too. And that young nurse in red is so supportive. I think I saw her slip a cookie to the gentleman in green.
The Beatles last concert was August 1966.... 58 years ago.... and the Stones are still playing today. Holy Shit that is crazy!
I saw the Stones in concert, 1964,
Long Beach (California)
Tickets 🎟 $4.50 ea.

I have goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Damn, that’s a mighty fine rock band, isn’t it?
Me too. Agreed
same here
This is the Stones' best song amongst a compendium of nearly 200 great, listenable songs. So, so good. Richard 🥰
Rolling Stones proving R&R is all about attitude.
Been around every sense I was 12 years old & still so good. Much Love for Sir Mick Jagger & The Rolling Stones. How Nice To Still Have Them Here. ...

Ive seen the Stones 3 times and every time Gimme Shelter is the best song they play live. Electrifying !!!

Was always my favorite Stones tune and loved it live in concert 👍

The woman in the red. Raaaaaiiinn muuuurrrrder!!! Elevated that song to mars !!!
Rape (not rain), murder
I think the lyric is RAPE/MURDER. I could be wrong wrong.
@@truthseekerlarge7713no, you're right, the lyric is "rape, murder". People forget that the original intent of the song was a warning.
The Stones have found the answer, her name: Ms Chanel Haynes. reminds me of Mick and Tina at Live Aid. This is an A+ performance!!!!
Dont forget Lisa Fisher
Lisa was great .. remember her?
@@triggerfish6619 yes!
Lisa the Queen
Best version 2003 at Twickenham. Lisa just kills it.
Both Mick and Keith will turn 81 years old in 2024.
Yes and I can see and hear it....🥴

Tearing up. Just so damn good. R & R doesn’t get any better - I’m feeling the grit just like I did over 50 yrs ago!!!
That girl is a solid badass

Take notice of the drummer. He's playing the kit in the same manner as the late, great Charlie Watts used to play.

I noticed that. Charlie recommended him. He’s good. Jagger is fuckin incredible. Nobody compares 2 him as a frontman

Excellent video, Michael. Great seats!!! 🎉
I like that the stage is kind of stripped down of the flesh or prior tours. And they still are playing and sound good.
Wonderful how the retirement homes have these activities available to the residents, music and singing too. And that young nurse in red is so supportive. I think I saw her slip a cookie to the gentleman in green.
That’s a retirement home I would gladly enter
Ageism sucks, okay?
Amazing. A Rolling Stone truly never gathers no moss. 💋👅
The woman in red....❤❤
For most 80 years old, this could be really embarrassing, but Jaggers like he’s 50 years old. Amazing the female singer is sexy , terrific.
The singer is in love! Of course!!
