Yes that's true. I'm from Clarksdale, MS the Delta where Blues music originated and the only original member of the Stones to visit was Bill Wyman who is a nice guy...
What an exhibition. What a special version of this amazing anthem. I LOVE YOU. THE ROLLING FUCKING STONES. YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN MOST PART OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW UNDER THEIR 30s.
My first trip to NOLA in 2010 we were walking by a random bar around 2pm and heard a great band playing. We walked in and they were just finishing☹ Then the lead guy said we will be doing another set in about an hour. We came back and they crushed it. As you probably guessed it was Dwayne Dopsie. Very happy for him. He did a great job on this and looks so relaxed to be playing with one of the biggest musical groups ever.
I wish that i could have attened this but i cant afford to attend Jazz Fest. So thank you so much for recording it so I can still experience it in some form.💜💜💜
Thank you M.W.! This is a real treat to see. Could not afford to go and no volunteers (been doing so for 30+ years) were allowed to work the fest that day! So wah, wah! But this clip is tasty and lovely. Good on you!
This show looks even better than Houston.. and I thought that was great .I’m going to see them in Vegas ❤️🎸❤️🔥 I like this New Orleans vibe they got going here .. maybe they will keep that for all shows !!
@@stephenlamb3929 yes, they sounded great in Houston! Only song I didnt like the performance in Houston was Angry. But I felt like the setlist here with Let it Bleed and Time is on my Side was better than Houston. My opinion, of course. They are always great - keep on rolling!
⭐🎺⭐ Thank You so much for posting this ~ I got so caught up in watching & listening, I felt like I was there! I really have to say, my sister & I have been going to see the Stones since 1994 & we so often talk about how Stones concerts are like a REALLY good~spirited party! When you look all around you, all you see are smiles on the faces of everyone from 5~85! Everyone is SO happy from the moment they start walking towards the gates of the show until long after they wake up the next morning! Look at how happy the band & crowd are together in this! I'm glad you're having so much fun, New Orleans! ⭐🎺⭐
Great version, thanks for sharing ! Love that zydeco sound and that solo was something else, didn't know you could do that with an accordion. But how about these people who can't help but chit chat when you have musicians of this calibre putting on a terrific show...
This is a breakup song wrote by Jagger to his then girlfriend Chrissie Shrimpton. The producer is Andrew Loog Oldham, a copycat of Phil Spector, the American producer who created the « Wall of Sound ». 1966. This song was intially released by Chris Farlow, a Member of Andrew’s team, and hé made his whole carreer out of this Stone’ song. Another version of this number is also featured in the Tarantino’s 2019 « Once upon a time « movie.

I totally agree with that statement 🎉
Odd to see the Stones playing in the daylight. They still sound great, though. Thanks for posting!

If someone had told me in 1970 that the Stones would have an accordion player, i would have replied "Phsaw! Shirley you jest!?"
They already got one in 1966 on back street girl.
We all need someone to lean on and if you want to you can lean on me

His name is Dwayne Dopsie, pronounced “Doop-c”. His dad was a zydeco great as are his brothers.🎉⚜️🎶✌🏻🎈👯♀️
1969
the beatles = let it be
The Rolling Stones = Let It Bleed 🍺
Should have seen them in Miami Hardrock which was Charlie’s last live performance
How in the world are they not in a headlining time spot?
I’m so stupid for not going

5:15 That's what they call when everybody's in the pocket
At 80 I will be wearing diapers and sitting next to my TV waiting for dinner.
As much as i love him i sense Keith is a little lost most of the time these days as to what to play
No vodka, no cigs, terrible..
Nothing like an accordion solo instead of a guitar solo in the middle of Let It Bleed. Please, let's be real Stones fans.
@MJ Damn, you're bleeding 62 years long and now you can finally bleed on me. Swansong.
Dwain Dubbsy ????!!!!!
I feel sorry for him !!!!!!
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
