34:38: Bobby Lamm looks up when he sings "a man playing guitar...". He does it every time he does the song, he's looking up to Terry Kath. What an amazing legacy these guys have.

One of the hardest working bands in the biz. All top shelf professionals at their craft....and then some. Chicago: a band so good, they named a mid-western city after them.

Robert Lamm has been the glue in the post Kath/Cetera years. At 70, his voice is still smooth. What a legend. And my all time favorite band. Fan since 68..,

Yes! Robert is the Man.It all started for me in 1971,with Does anybody really know what time it is?and beginnings,I was 7 years old.I recently saw them at the Bloomsburg Fair,2017. My First time.It was their 50 th yr.tour. Hearing Robert sing those songs It was just like 1971 again, nothing changed at all,the horns,Roberts voice, just like 50 years ago.It was the best concert I ever saw.And I saw just about everyone.Honorable mention,Dio,REO,Foreigner,Cheap Trick, the Rascals,Three Dog Night,Frankie Valli.Just to name a few.

As Robert Lamm is singing lead on Saturday in the Park, see him look up to Terry Kath (their lead guitar player that died in the late 70's) , as he says "A man playing guitar." He says he does it often during that song.

He sounds like Cookie Monster who wants to be center stage. Bill Champlin and Jason Scheff kept the band afloat for 3 decades after Terry Kath died and Peter Cetera left. Without Bill and Jason, Chicago is just a cover band. Like it is now.

I was 23 years old back in 1990 seeing them only once opening for The Beach Boys and was right up front for the show It was my first concert. Love it . I met my wife shortly after about 3-4 months later. I turned her on to their music and it these guys became her favorite band.. If only she had been there earlier. I just lost her just a little under 2 years ago . She had become terminally ill. We were married for close to 32 years. Everytime I hear them I think of her now. Thank you guys for your music being in our lives. I hope one day I can them again. We almost did but couldn't. I heard that at one time Jimi Hendrix said that Terry Kath's guitar solo in " 25 or 6 to 4 " was the best guitar playing ever. I also became friends with a girl who was in a band with who is now her husband. Who.I also became friends with. Anyway, Her husband was in a band with their old drummer, Danny Seraphine. I can't say their names but yeah true story

Tears of emotion ... I still keep the ticket of the concert that Chicago (with Terry Kath) held in my city (Turin, Italy) on 9/6/1971, place n.193, which I attended together with a good number of friends ... I remember that, when I got home, I pasted it inside the cover of Chicago II I just bought, which I still keep.
Chicago were one of the gratest groups in rock music history. If we imagine rock as a big table, the Chicago certainly represent one of the four legs ... For me the other three are the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

The new kids are all competent players being themselves. Leave it at that and just love the music & the memories... I do!

Wonderful to see them with the original horn section which has been together for half a century. Definitely not a nostalgia trip; the music is as vital in 2021 as it was in 1971. Bill, when he joined, was a great addition. But the last several shows I saw him with Chicago he was a caricature of how he performed in the 80s. I think he had gotten bored stiff, yet he did 25 years or more with them. I haven't seen the latest line-up with Pardini and Scheff's replacement yet. But I can tell you that I did see Danny Seraphine's California Transit Authority with Bill Champlin sitting on on vocals and Hammond. He was not in the least bit bored that night.

Hmmm, a lot of Jason haters here... I may be alone in this but I always liked him.

I am with ya Sandy. The show must go on. Same for Journey, Earth, Wind & Fire, the commodities, the Police and other gr8 groups. I appreciate them keeping it going

I love him - not only can he sing (yes, haters, he can!) but he's adorable!

There's a lot of people that say they love Jason, here. I love Jason and wished he had more opportunities to create more Chicago songs. The 1990s and 2000s weren't a good time for Chicago as far as new original material go.

Pretty unfair with the criticism. Everyone ages. Voices change too. Think they sound pretty darn good for being around this long.

I agree, Brent. Human beings are not immortal and life goes on. It’s easy to criticize & if you all can do better, get up there and play your instruments, or better yet sing to your hearts content 😀
