Friendly neighborhood reminder that Bolters are a S4 AP0 weapon. So yes, bolters aren't exactly the best against power armor and never have been: A knife in a weak armor joint would be much more effective.

They're not aiming at the joints. While yes, that much fire could get through the armor, the UMs would've fared better had they aimed at the joints.
Might also depend on what kind of bolt round they are equipped with, Kraken rounds would be doing a lot better even if Khorne is helping them.
No it's pretty accurate because in the space marine game when you are against CSM you have to shoot them like 15 time before they get stunt
