You obviously have no idea what adrenaline is. We push the boundaries and live on the edge to feel alive. Some of us are insanely capable riders who are well aware of common sense risks as well. Stay in the back of the pack on your bike and leave the serious riding to us.
I just got my first sport bike. I can't wait to be good enough to take this ride. What a trip. Awesome video thanks for letting me ride on your shoulder.
Spend the money to buy top of the line leathers and helmet and boots and gloves and body armor then go out to the racetrack and spend time and money practicing on the track days, where there are no cars, opposing traffic, animals, trees, RVs, and cliffs... if you want to have a slightly higher chance of survival!!
@@Dharma-Track I just went to my first track weekend at Little Talley. Chewed up tires but I learned a lot taking the race classes and talking to the coaches and many new friends, running the track. Can't wait til next season.
I live in Los Gatos in northern CA. This looks exactly like many of the roads that I ride daily. What makes this road dangerous is many that ride it aren’t familiar with its nuances. I bet it’s less dangerous to local regulars. Most of my areas local wrecks are caused by excessive speed for the conditions, ie. wet or cold roads. Be safe!
@@riderdie1603 I live on the shores of Lake Erie half hour East of CLE. My good friend finally bought property in Robbinsville NC. Right on 129. Tail of the Dragon. Been there many times now. I don't know why this road is so famous... I guess in USA most of them are long straight boring road😜 In Spain we have a lot of them, so every time you can do a different route. For example, look for Prades (Tarragona) I call that are Nurburgring, because is a green hell of a road, or the road above Castellar del Vallés (Barcelona), la Alpujarra (Granada), etc... I invite you to come to Spain and enjoy some good roads and food
Love that place I live 5 hours but I'm in a mx5 my conner eater . I always wondered how fast you guys go. I might can keep up with ya in curzes but on long stretch I'm done
Freaking amazing video. Thank you. Sorry for the noob question. How was this filmed? I see it was a 360 degree camera. But how is it mounted? Really cool
Wondering how long you been riding before you did this tail. Also do you have any good advice for my brother who just start riding and is looking to ride this tail soon
This guy has been riding for a long time. Your brother will be fine. Even new riders can handle the dragon. It's just the way you ride it. There's plenty of people out there just cruising around going the speed limit. I think you'd be surprised, it's so twisty it's really hard to get going very fast at all. Just go, you'll have fun!
just got my bike a few months ago ive lived in asheville NC my whole life and always wanted to move away from here but now i find out that one of the most famous roads to ride on is only an hour away????
I live just over the line in Ky and own two motorcycles a liter bike and a CBR300R and yes we have great roads for riding. My favorite is down by Laurel lake in corbin Ky. We often race on a long bridge over looking the damn!
No worries I saw it in the corner of a couple of frames.. For some reason I remember it being up closer to where you turn into the carpark mind you that was 20 years ago so memory plays tricks on you at times..
The bike has a long pole mounted on the back, kind of a like a sturdy fishing pole or radio antenna. The camera is mounted on the top and can be facing forward or backwards... simple but effective.

Amen Slayer. I don't even ride a sport bike but I do know a bit about physics and about rider positioning and I'm frankly amazed this dude is still alive. I hate to think there are young riders out there trying to emulate this.
Finally a full video with the 360° camera 👍🏾
Leaning over the double yellow line is a great way to lose your head. Same goes for crossing it

2:10 this turn is cemented in my brain, the camera doesn’t do it justice
I have ridden the Dragon two times and seeing these guys give me an adrenaline rush. Great video
I just rode the dragon Tuesday. One of the best rides ever.

YAY YAY KTG
Awesome footage - felt like I was there with ya
This is so gorgeous in the autumn colors. damn
Heard stories about that road, only 45 minutes from me. Gonna have to ride out there
Will you please do a video of how you did the setup of your camera and show us how you ended up with that good looking angle

That’s a cute little road. I could see how flat landers would get worked up about it though.
GREAT VID 💯💯💯🔝

Sweet mount angle, really get so see how your moving around on the bike better than before.
Is this filmed with a drone? Awesome video nonetheless!
Pretty sure I saw you guys this past weekend. My first time on the Dragon

Who’s doing the filming? A drone?
how long you in nc for max? i now live 6hrs away from the dragon... i can't wait to ride it
did u gear ur bike differently ? it sounds like u stay in one gear alot ?
Honestly, id rather just do a track day to ride fast like that. On that road i just want to cruise
It’s awesome to watch my brothers ride. KTG yay yay 💯🐺🐺🐺
6:34 his tire is in the dirt at triple digits in a corner. Lucky you didn’t lose control
Just watch the TT sorry but not even close😂
Tad late... Thanks for the video. Snow on the ground, good medicine.
i just got back home from going through this. i have a gt350 and i must say my legs and hands are still shaking
My husband did theTail on his GoldWing. I suspect he went a whole lot slower than you!
Leaning over the double yellow line shows no particular riding skills
First why are there stripes at all!? They need matenains, are dangerous, have no purpose. In Europe you hno stripes. Much saver and more fun to ride.
Didnt you Upload a similiar Video in only that Perspektive ? I cant find it
The red black bike is R1?
Twisty Wristy always #1 ☝️
Dangerous and foolish. Guys like this ruin the Dragon for everyone. You are going to get someone killed or hurt if you ride the Dragon like this.
Oh well they having fun :)
The absolute best video of Tail of the the Dragon! What camera system are you using? Heading there in June!!!
Have a great ride! bit.ly/maxwristx2

wheres the mph cam? need some reality here. the cams always distort the perception of speed. good vid -thx!
Its looks cool but dangerous at the same time. The closest thing to me riding there is just youtube lol
One Road I never got to Ride!
Ive driven this in a vehicle a lot, my hands are SWEATING watching this video lmao
312 bends on this road, and you managed to go over the yellows on more than half. Well done…
