Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

In this segment Alucard finally faces off against Richter. However, thanks to the Holy Glasses Maria gave him, he sees that there's another force that's manipulating him. After destroying the orb the true force behind the events shows himself, and flees to the Inverted Castle.
Maria shows up, and Alucard tells her to take Richter and leave the castle, and he will stay behind and finish things.
Once in the inverted castle, Alucard heads to the Reverse Clock Tower, where he runs into the Darkwingt Bat. After a dispatching it, he continues on to the Reverse Outter Wall.
Ah, on to the Inverted Castle. This area is unavailable if you haven't obtained the two rings, and the Holy Glasses from Maria, because you are then forced to defeat Richter since you can't see the Orb that is being used to control him.
Once you make it to this part of the game, you will notice that the difficulty of the game gets ramped up a few notches. Everything here does a lot more damage, there's a lot more you have to worry about, and if you're not careful you can get wasted very easily.
The next segment, we will be going through the Forbidden Library.

Putting poor Yorick in there from Hamlet is a comical jest. Get it? A dead jester trying to find his head is the comical jest.. Haha!
The Medusa Shield can be dropped by the Flying Medusa Heads in the Clock Tower or the Outter Wall. It's somewhat of a rare drop, however.
Generally it's based on your play style. The Alucard sword has quick strikes, the Holy Sword works wonders on a lot of monsters throughout the game but it's attacks are a bit slow. The Crissagrim, however, is horrendously OP in this game and makes it really easy to simply walk through an area just button mashing, I mostly skip on using it for that reason on most of my playthroughs. The best suggestion I can give is to try all of them to see what suits your style.
I'm sorry for not replying to this sooner. In this video (if memory serves me correctly) I am using the Holy Sword which is found in a secret area of the Colosseum. There's a breakable portion of the ceiling in the room with the large columns where the dual wielding skeletons with green armor are.
The best way to do that is use the Gravity Boot Jump (down, up+jump), then as soon as you hit the ceiling use the wolf form transformation. Doing that will cause you to get closer to the ceiling and should get those portions of the map for you.
I'm not sure I know what you mean. If you mean how do I keep mist form going for longer than just a few seconds, you need to find the Power of Mist upgrade which is in the Castle Keep. If you mean how am I not being effected by the Giant Bat's wing attack, mist form is completely immune to all attacks, thus making the bat's push back not work.

This is one of my favorite games, and I just made two walkthroughs of it (the PS1 version and the sega saturn version) but am also working on the psp version. Content-wise, I prefer the Saturn version, but voice acting wise, I prefer the PSP version. Also, were you playing on the actual console or using an emulator? I recorded the PS1 version with my Elgato Game Capture HD and my PlayStation 2 slim, whereas the saturn version I had to use an emulator due to not having a saturn console or the actual game disc (the emulator is called SSF and requires either a disc or a virtual mount drive; I burned the ISO and cue onto a disc beforehand to play it that way) and for the PSP version I have to use PPSSPP and the ISO file of Castlevania The Dracula X Chronicles due to not having a psp or the disc.
ok Thanks But I Have another Question Why i Cant Complete The Part Of the map in the inverted Caverns Where the cave trolls are? there is to little parts of the map imcomplete and i cant do anything :(
