I lovee that Nick really knows about his Real Housewives stuff its kinda hilarious because i know him only from survivor
After listening to him here, I need to see him back on Survivor or something, and I also need to start watching Housewives…which is something I never thought I’d say
Nick is making me feel VERY SEEN as a crossover fan 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
As a multiverse of reality TV aficianado, It's Our Time 🎉🎉
I knew all the information, but Rob and Pooya's reactions had me on the floor laughing through the entire video. You all are the best!
YES YES YES! This video is epic!
We all relate to someone in this room 😅🎉
I love how you guys got some Real Housewives/Shahs experts to let everyone else know more about our Traitors contestants. I am a Real Houswives fanatic myself but it was great to have these guests to let everyone else know not to underestimate MJ, Phaedra and all the other houswives 🙈
I've only recently dipped my toes into housewives as a survivor fan. (I've only seen Vanderpump Rules in entirety BH in entirely, started slc recently on s2) so I don't know these people but I really want to see more housewives content on RHAP
As a lover of all things Real Housewives, Survivor and Big Brother (well not all things), The Traitors feeds my literal soul and is a perfect blend of all my favorite things .
Same same and same!
Phaedra contract was not renewed because everyone refused to film with her. She wasn’t fired for what she said
I come from the BB/survivor side of things and have no plans to watch any housewives, so I really appreciate you guys making this vid!
You guys!!! Phaedra was going to come back to Housewives regardless of Kandi but they didn’t want to pay her as much as she was asking. They would have had to get rid of other housewives and weren’t willing to do that. So they fired a couple of people on M2M to pay Phaedra!! These are FACTS.
I could have listened to literally 6 hours of this. Thank you! More please!!
Great overview Nick & Sasha. Thanks RHAP
Thank you Nick!!! As an avid Housewives fan and staunch Survivor stan this crossover is like Endgame 🙆🏾♂️.. anyway, thank you for Housewive-splaining for Rob 😂😂
Good job all around! Special shoutout to Nick!
This was a GREAT idea!! Thank for all this historical context of the housewives 😂 WHEW! 😅
I never even considered watching Housewives….until Nick’s amazing story telling. This might be favorite RHAP, because I got so much crazy/amazing content, I never would have expected 😮
It is one HELL of a ride embarking on the Bravoverse, but as a crossover fan, I HIGHLY recommend.
This was fantastic and so helpful to understand a bit about the housewives
Wow, bonus Traitors content!! Also glad to learn more about the Housewives.
This is everything! My two worlds colliding.
I’m available to explain Pilot Pete lore if anyone ever asks 😭
Omg i’m late but I wanna know lol was he a good bachelor?? Did people like him?
AHHHH HOUSEWIVES MY FAVORITE REALITY TV FRANCHISE
Every time Nick mentions "many fans" with regard to Phaedra: it's me 🤚🏾🤚🏾. I'm one of the many. Yes, she has funny one-liners and dramatic expressions, and for the purposes of The Traitors only, I can enjoy the antics.
But for me: Phaedra has shown herself to be willing to lie on friends or foes at the slightest provocation (season 9 being the absolute worst), has organized others to antagonize people, never apologizes, and worse - acts as if others should just get over her behavior because she's moved on. There is no way that Apollo is cunning enough to develop the fraudulent schemes for which he was convicted all by himself. And Phaedra's comfort with concocting and/or spreading such heinous, life-altering allegations against her former "friend" (like, Phaedra was a bridesmaid in Kandi's wedding) and allowed to grow for almost a year w/o the slightest indication of concern or remorse is beyond.
Point of clarification: Kandi is sex-positive but never had a sex-dungeon in her basement (Kandi has a scene where she makes clear that she'd never lie about that b/c it'd be a cool thing to have). However, as the consummate businesswoman Kandi did produce a Dungeon Experience live tour after the entire plot was exposed.
You are right! I meant the dungeon experience but misspoke about the actual dungeon.
Ok, I'm bummed that I missed this live chat b/c I keep wanting to chime in about my Bravo girlies. Not Nick saying "if you've ever heard of She by Sheree?"🤣🤣🤣
Even though I knew the housewives history this was a fun watch !
This is awesome listening to the background of all the bravo people. Great show tonight. Did anyone one think Bravo vs. gamers group division would happen. Love this !!
Eagerly awaiting the Passionscast over here
This was very fun and helpful!
How are we just not talking about Tamra’s Dr. Will connection?? The first time I ever saw Dr. Will on tv was on RHOC with Tamra 😂
Was this before or after he won BB2?
@@coffeetxDefinitely after, but I only got into BB in the last 10 years, I’ve been a Bravo girly since before Housewives even started. I knew him as Dr. Tat-off long before I knew him as Dr. Will. He’s been on RHOC at least three times that I can remember.
BIG MISS FROM ME OMFG
Wow, really?! For plastic surgery or what?
@@msbrownsuga It was multiple tattoo removals. Some for Tamra after she divorced Simon, and then a few years back he removed one for her terrible son.
Nick is the best
I’m literally crying at “The wig Shift heard from around the world” 💀
What I've learned from this is that CBS villains are people who go after people we like in a game, but Housewives villains are actually just horrible human beings.
What an incredible dissertation - thank you for doing the lords work.
Agree on some many points. Larsa is a MENACE. The worst. A Kardashian wannabe that turned into a Bratts doll by mistake 😬. Pheadra was awful to Kandi, but redeems herself in all other ways. Never fazed, witty and silly. Love her cameos on other Bravo series.
Tamra’s “THAT’S MY OPINION”
The key is being the one who can float a name without being attacked... easier said than done 😅
This is exactly what I wanted!! I knew nothing about the bravo girls
I NEEDED this
I loved learning about these incredibly toxic and cursed people!
This was so informative, but I am very worried about Dan, Janelle, and Parvati now!
I have never watched a Housewives show, they sound like a nightmare. Thanks for the education!
Whist this is true, they are frequently beautiful nightmares, who get their comeuppance. And there’s true hilarity and heart mixed in along the way. Births, deaths, marriages, VPR renewals - which inevitably lead to divorces, break out stars from the HW’s families - it’s a ride.
this was so great. but i think a big difference is that gamers can’t get TOO messy whereas housewives have to get messy
1000% the gamers just wanted to knock down the Housewives' numbers and Larsa was the easiest to get out. Also, did anyone catch that Larsa said in a confessional she considers herself one of Destiny's Child and NOT Beyonce? [Cue Rob's "since when?" sound effect].
I’m here for all the Housewives content!!!
My jaw is still on my chest hearing about the RH's antics. I thought I was beyond shockable by trashy TV. Yowsa. Great podcast.
Quick addition: Larsa and Marcus have both denied that she babysat him lol and also have claimed that she was not around him as a child
Ya🎉🎉 I love the show and I love traitors 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am ready to be educated yessir
Please. A traitors roundtable.
YES.
Nick so cute
Timmy died so he can’t be on Traitors 😭
Re Larsa just to add to the mess, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan HATE each other. Housewives level drama between those two honestly
Chateau sherae 😭😭😭😭
WTF?!?! this is some insane stuff!! how are these ladies allowed on TV for the "crimes". Is it mostly just scripted and for tv? wtf
Looks like they send all the criminals and fired cast members to Traitors
It's not scripted, just produced. The network assembles a group of women that can be framed as a "friend group," with the expectation that there will be both conflict and conflict resolution among them. Some do this more authentically than others. The women are also expected to showcase what's going on in their personal lives as well. Again, some do this more authentically than others. In general, good Housewives respond realistically to stimuli that probably exists only because they're in a specific circumstance -- on a reality show and surrounded by a specific group of women -- while earning the audience's investment because of their compelling personal stories. "Crimes" are rare -- only two Housewives (out of like 160) have been sent to prison. And that's for stuff they were doing outside the show itself.
It is very much not scripted.
And in some cases the groups did originally develop from real friend groups in a particular community, and watching how those women change as they become more noteworthy and as fans choose favorites is fascinating too.
@@msbrownsuga *sigh* I miss OG Bethenny…
Phaedra is a pathologically liar and cruel. Sheree is the only one on the cast who knows what she’s capable of
Wow. This was…. A lot. Obviously these ladies are making “good” TV, but the more details I hear the more I feel like their brand of “good” is not the kind of drama I want in what I have thus far (watched 2 previous franchises) considered an exciting and respectable new strategy game that has a level of sophistication and seriousness. These folks feel like Hantz level ugh.
Might be the unpopular opinion, and that’s fine, but these thoughtful and serious game players, the Dans and the Ciries and Sandras of the world, are being cheapened by them.
Same here. After listening to this I'm a lot less interested in seeing this season play out.
This video covers the sensational aspects of the Housewives, focusing on their big personalities. Fundamentally, "Housewives" is a docu-soap about women and their relationships. The cycle of conflict and conflict resolution that's expected of them as a result of the narrative form is not prodded by any game mechanics (as on the competition shows) -- they actually have to offer it, or create it, themselves. That's why they're good at both making friends and making enemies, while maintaining a sense of ensemble. I personally think this makes them ideal for a show like "Traitors."
I mean, Nick was highlighting the literal worst parts of in some peoples cases, a decade of content. You’re not entirely wrong, but your not right either.
Maybe this video will change my opinions on the housewives... Never seen them until now but ive come to really dislike the majority of them. When they come at others, even if justified, they make it so personal in a way that feels like tween bullying
CBS has family-friendly argunents/competition. Bravo has mature-audience (viewer discretion is advised) argurments/competition lol
some of it sounds boarder line illegal activities that are being celebrated?
@@drewpmartin9918It's hard to tell what's actually real
why are these fired ladies allowed and trusted on other TV shows??
They were all fired at some point but are now currently employed on Bravo. The network regularly rotates the casts to keep the stories fresh.
They were not correct on several things. Especially related to the Atlanta housewives.
Like what? Could you be more specific or point to a different video?
Which parts?
Other than Below Deck, RHAP’s Bravo content is usually about 75% correct. A lot of the details were wrong in this video, but the basics were there. It’s hard to cover 17 seasons of housewives history in an hour.
@@elizabethoconnor5470 Some of the small details were off, like season numbers and stuff. And a lot was left out too (for the sake of time). Nothing too major.
Not in any essentials, that I heard. What are you referencing?
I was excited to watch this, but stopped watching around 20:10 because joking about domestic violence isn’t funny at all.
Too bad your supposed ATL Housewife experts didn’t give you the real back story. Sorry but they only know surface level gossip!
