Thanks for the review on the Gen 5 X1 yoga. Before I ordered a T14 I entertained the idea of buying an X1 yoga but Gen 4, as there seemed to be no significant changes in the Gen 5 and the price was more attractive.

Thanks for the review. I would have wanted to know more about about pen writing experience. I'm looking this laptop for studying and taking notes.

Actually they were doing convertibles before the yoga line was even invented, and back then they also had an internal dock for their pens. Great stuff.

Thinkpads are work computers and built tough. They are out in the field a lot. The trackpoint allows you to use the computer with gloves on.

Thanks for this latest upload, Richard. Great as usual. Really looking forward to a P1 Gen 3 and P15 review, if that can be arranged.

modify the f9-f11 media buttons, move the X1 logo, equip it w/ comet lake cpu (gen 4 can be selected w/ comet lake cpu) and call it a day

is this laptop (i7/16Gb) suitable for AutoCAD and Matlab programming? I understand that it has an integrated graphics card. What'd a 2 in 1 that can run AutoCAD or a budget 2 in 1 gaming laptop? thanks.

whenever anyone says they ignore the Track Point/Pointing Stick, I instantly know they never knew how to use it before to begin with. These people always make a cliché anecdote to being a relic from the past

Does it support Palm rejection. Can you take notes on it just like the way we can take notes on iPad using a stylus and at the same time rest are Palm on the display while writing ?
