Thank you so much. I have a question if I’m putting a square lace trim on the bottom of shorts do i sew the lace on first then sew side seams to catch the raw edge or do I sew after side seams folding under in the sewn seam?

      Hello!!
      1. Sew the side seams of the shorts from the waistband down, leaving the bottom edge open where you'll attach the lace trim.
      2. Prepare the lace trim by folding any raw edges under and pressing them if needed.
      3. Pin or baste the lace trim to the bottom edge of the shorts, ensuring the finished edge of the lace faces downwards.
      4. Sew the lace trim onto the shorts, stitching close to the upper edge of the lace.
Optionally, fold the raw edge of the shorts fabric under towards the inside and sew it along the same seam line that attaches the lace trim to enclose the raw edge.
This method ensures that the lace trim is neatly attached to the shorts and the raw edges are properly finished for a clean look. Adjust the steps based on your specific shorts and lace trim to achieve the desired result.
Thank you for asking! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck with your project!🥰❤️

Just notice while watching all your video tutorial, pins playing the big factor for secure the fabric from shifting while you sew.
