    My issue I'm having is you can see the stiching when I'm done. Even though the string is the same color.

    Hey! I doubt anyone will see this but I’m making a garment with lace edging. Do you think it’s necessary to hem the edges on it or just put the lace on the edge like this?

    Doesn't invisible thread melt when you iron over it, especially with steam? This is what I've been told at least.

      The steam will not melt, but the high temperature of the iron can damage the invisible thread (it's like fishing line).

      Late answer but it might be useful for whoever finds this: if you need to do it by hand , whipstitching is what you want to do. Bernadette Banner does it quite often in her videos and she's very good at sewing, if you want to see someone do it first.
