Gorgeous ocean waves & beach in acrylic on canvas.
Size of canvas: 50*40 cm
Acrylic paints
Fluid medium
Water
Silicone oil
I used these colors and mixed them the way I liked:
Phthalocyanine Blue, Ultramarine blue, Blue brilliant, Green deep, Yellow medium, Burnt Sienna
Black & White
The sand dried about half of a day. The whole painting dried for about 3-4 days.
I mixed colors in an approximate ratio 2:1 (medium+ small amount of water: color). The condition should be liquid like a souse. If you are not sure about the proportion of color mixing, I advise you to try on a small piece, and then you can correct it, as I did.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: do not flow a lot of paints on a canvas. In this video, I did so in the center of the painting..and when It came to dry, there were some crashes..so I needed to repair it.

that tutorial is not the same as this one as far as the techniques. But I am guessing you used the same colors??

@@sandrabalabas1121 Hi Sandra! I added silicone oil in white paint and in a light blue (colors which are going to be on top of others). Few drops should be enough. You can add more to after to see the difference. P.S.: I didn’t notice much difference when added silicone oil. You can do a nice painting without it:) try and see what works for you better

Love how you built up the surf with layers of white! The outcome is so unpredictable and the undercolors you chose really interact so well with the white! Very cool ocean motion! 🥰

Thank You for watching this video! I didn’t expect such a big interest in my painting!) So here is more info about it:
1. I mixed 2 parts of a pouring medium with a little water and 1 part of acrylic paint. This was according to the instructions for the liquid medium ("Art kompozit"). What is matters is the consistency of your ready-to-pour mix: not too thick and not too liquid. Now I use a different brand “Artistic loft”. And it’s measurement is 5 parts of the fluid part and 1 part of the paint. I have a video of how I mix colors in my newest painting ruclips.net/video/Z-ahiSil4_U/видео.html
2. Depending on where you are, I'm pretty sure you will use local things for your painting. My personal opinion - Brand doesn't matter if you're a beginner
3. I mixed acrylic paints to get colors close to Pale Brown, Sandy Brown, Pale Turquoise, Turquoise, Dark Cyan

You can notice that I didn’t get a perfect dry result. I had some cracks because of a lot of paint. In addition, my surface was not flat. So I scrapped some parts and remade the painting. I didn’t cover it with something in the end. It’s up to u. If you want you can cover it with acrylic varnish or resin.
5. Be creative and don’t afraid to experiment with your painting, because practice is the best teacher.

What is used to get a glazed look?
@@ertejaethika2031 it is just a wet painting. You may coat your picture with a glossy varnish or resin to achieve glazed effect

This is so beautiful and satisfying to watch! Whether it’s easy for beginners or not, I don’t know. Though it seems easy I have doubts. There is no randomness in the way you apply the colours and the direction of the blowing out.
The hues of blues mixed with the white and the bege, the foam on the shoreline, everything results in a very dynamic, extraordinarily realistic, rough, wavy sea!
