I’ve never commented on a video before- but this video was PERFECT! You explained everything in detail and showed a mistake and how to learn from it! THANK YOU!!)
Wow!! This means so much to me! Thank you so much!!!! I have been told I’m long winded and kinda go overboard with details, but I knew there had to be people that might appreciate something super thorough. So thank you very much!! And I learn best from mistakes. ;)
I watched this video while my 9 month old son is taking nap by me (means without audio) but wow its amazing and therapeutic . I save this to watch this again when my son and husband will be up. Cant resist myself to comment and appreciate ❤
I appreciate that you showed us how you mix your paint in the cups. You'd be surprised that for something that is so simple and routine to you just isn't clear to someone like me who's never done it. Most people just rattle off their ratios and I'm not always clear what 50 percent this to 30 percent that to half water to 50 percent glue and the percentages don't add up to a hundred and then I'm all confused. You were very precise with your measurements and there was no confusion or muddled ratios. I think with your specific instructions I can probably do this too. And your sand was gorgeous.
Thank you so much for sharing the details and the redo video. It was immensely helpful in getting my swipe done. Though mine is nowhere close to yours, I am grateful to you for getting me closer to what I wanted to achieve.
AHOJ- je to moj zazitok ako som pozerala tvoje uzitocne video, ktore nema chybu. Som seniorka, ale ty si mi dala nadej ze to zvladnem.--dakujem velmi pekne-objimam ta z laskou VIKI.
Thank you so much!! I have searched for a video that walks me through the whole process for so long! I’m great at pour painting at the Sip & Paint places but can never seem to get my paint right at home. I hope you will continue to produce content!!! Thank you!! 🙏🙏🙏
I'm sooooo happy that I came across your video. This has to be the best instructional video I've ever seen. You did an amazing job of explaining and sharing. And on top of that your art is amazing. Thanks.
Thanks for making this video, showing what can go wrong with consistency was very insightful, I’ve been swiping with paper and pallet knives, love the use of the plastic sheets, can’t wait to try this. Also you don’t use a base layer, must try that 👍😊Thanks again, great video. R
Thanks for excellent instruction, especially the reasons why you do things, you've nailed that look of foam!! I've only just found you & I hope to see more. Thanks
Thank you so much for the detailed explanations, really helpful and instructively constructive. I got inspired by your idea and created my own picture. ❤
Thank you! I have learned so much from you. I want to make this for a friend. I appreciate all your hard work and excellent teaching skills PLUS troubleshooting.
I appreciated this video and I LOVE your instruction, your personality shines through! I am now a subscriber and will be watching more of your vids. Thank you!
Thank you 😊 . Good job. I’ve been contemplating beach 🏖! I’ve been pouring about a year now . And I’m so enjoying . No utube channel for me ONLY SPIRT FILLED POURS 🔥🕊💗🙏
Thank you so much!! I just wasted a bunch of small canvas and supplies. I thought my paint was bad. It was the consistency. I appreciate it. Your process and painting is beautiful. I love how you made the sea foam.
Thank you so much!! Yes, consistency is so important! I always get anxious that people will stop at the ratio part of the video and not watch the consistency part, which is key to everything! I’m so glad the video helped!
I’m confused about your paint to floetrol ratio. You first said 1:4, but when you mixed the first cup you started with 1 oz floetrol, I paint, then added two more floetrol. That’s total of four. Can you clarify? Thx! Want to try and see how I do.
What a great tutorial! This is just what I was hoping for to help me with this technique and swipes in general. My other two ocean swipes that I attempted did NOT come out like this at all, and while they have their own charm, I'd really like to nail this down a little better. My paint consistencies were too thin I can tell now, and my white might be too thick in comparison, and my swipe plastic sheet was too thick, sturdy and it was uneven as I swiped. Thanks for putting this together, I appreciate what you put into this!
Hey!! I thought I had responded to your super sweet comment a long time ago! Thank you so much for commenting! ☺️ I was hoping this tutorial would be helpful! I’m currently working on trouble shooting a Dutch pour version. I’m definitely partial to the swipe method for an ocean pour. The Dutch is a lot of variables, like technique of how you angle the blow dryer. So I’m worried about repeatability as a tutorial. But maybe I’ll get it locked down and able to do a tutorial! Anyways, thank you for all your support!!
Good stuff. I learned much. Don’t forget to remind folks to clean off the small squares when swiping the foam. It’s very difficult to recover when I got beach color mixed into the white. Better yet I need a whole stack of them and only use each once.
Ah! That’s great feedback, thank you! I actually wipe it off each time on a baby wipe. I plan on redoing this video and incorporating this update and also what to do if part of the sand portion gets ruined. Thank you so much for the feedback!!
Thankyou for all the details and tips. It was very helpful and you explained everything so well. I would have liked to see the dried result. Even with the thinned out paint it would have been interesting to see if the paint cracked after drying. A beautiful picture nonetheless. Thanks 👍🎨
Thank you so much! I actually have a video of it dried on my RUclips Shorts. It won’t let me link to it from here. But it’s called Ocean Polyptych Painting. It’s the dried result of 4 ocean pour panels. The one on the far left is the one from the tutorial! No cracks! 🤗
Just subscribed to you. Found Sara Taylor first but then found you! I’ve learned so much from the video you made. Now, I feel more confident because you explained every process in detail but then broke it all down so simply to where I’m not so scared to try this. Yay! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!! I love hearing that my detailed explanation helped someone! I’ve heard so many time that I “get lost in the weeds of details”. 😜 so I decided to put them to good use with this video!
Absolutely standing!! This is the first time watching your videos!! I really enjoy watching!! Love how you explained everything!! Thank you for sharing!!!
This was really cool and helpful! I’m pretty new at acrylic pour painting and love making ocean scenes and this is my new favorite way of doing it! Just the foam effect alone is incredible! Thank you for sharing this! 🖼 🎨 🤩 💜
Awesome, thank you!! And welcome to pour painting! It’s really a great art form! And I call my ocean series “Staycation” cuz it’s the closest I’m going to get to the ocean for a long time living in the Midwest. lol.
Yes, the mod podge is sooo helpful! I’m thinking of doing a follow up video to show some new tips I’ve learned for applying and also taking off the tape!
Beautiful! Thank you! Such an amazing deep beauty outcome! But please please please reconsider the music😍 Something classic May be will get more in harmony with your gorgeous creation? Otherwise, one of the best tutorials I’ve ever seen on painting! Thanks again!
That was great! I’ve done lots of resin sea scapes but was nervous about trying it with my acrylic. I’m on my way to my shop to give it a try. I will be watching your other videos. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
Thank you so much. Your art is beautiful! Your explanations and demonstration was so clear. I did learn from your mistake. I am definitely going to give this a try. 😉
Great video🙂 lot of new tips and I love the way you teach, sharing all the tips and things like mod podge around the tape. Thank you, I am going to give the beach pour a try😁
Thank you! Beautiful!! Thanks for explaining.. First time watching you. Really enjoyed. I also use alot of Masters Touch Paints. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations.
Just gave it a try and it worked to perfection. Question. I assume this will dry to a mat finish, have you ever put a gloss finish on and if so what did you use.
Extraordinar!! Din nefericire, inteleg prea putin, deoarece nu inteleg engleza prea bine!😢 Puteti sa imi spuneti, cum ati preparat culoarea pentru spuma apei? Si , inca ceva: in ce culori ati adaugat ulei siliconic? Multumesc!!!❤
Omg. We are kindred souls with those PERFECT painters tape corners!!
lol, those corners…I’m a bit OCD about them. 😜 love crisp corners!!

Beautiful I actually thought how did my swipe get on RUclips we have almost exactly the same type of methods,For a lovely ocean swipe..
